Abstract

技术领域
本申请要求于2007年9月11日提交的序号为60/971,346的美国申请的优先权,其内容在这里通过参考并入本发明。
背景技术
需要加热软管用于喷射各种材料,比如快速凝固的泡沫。这种软管往往相对缺乏柔性并且使操作者难于控制。
发明内容
螺旋状加热软管利用两个特征来增加柔性。第一个特征是编织的铜加热元件,所述编织的铜加热元件相对于之前的固体铜加热元件具有增大的柔性。所述元件螺旋地缠绕软管,且利用防湿层保持在适当的位置。第二个特征是螺旋状扭结,所述螺旋状扭结就位于所述软管附接到歧管的点之前。螺旋状特征通过螺旋状支撑件产生,所述螺旋状支撑件从终止点向后大约24英寸处开始扭曲。螺旋状特征的作用是减少围绕两个供应软管的中性轴线的惯性力矩。为使传统的加热软管弯曲,一个供给软管必须在另一个供应软管处于张紧状态时压缩。通过在弯曲期间使软管彼此交叉并滑过,弯曲期间唯一的刚性感觉来自软管本身的刚度。

Claims (4)
1.一种加热软管组件,所述加热软管组件与多组分材料一起使用,所述软管组件被设计成附接到软管歧管,所述软管组件包括:
第一软管,所述第一软管附接到所述软管歧管;和
第二软管,所述第二软管附接到所述软管歧管,所述第一软管和第二软管的至少一部分相对于彼此螺旋地缠绕以提高柔性。
2.根据权利要求1所述的加热软管组件,进一步包括螺旋状支撑件,所述螺旋状支撑件使所述第一软管和第二软管相对于彼此定位。
3.根据权利要求1所述的加热软管组件,其中所述螺旋状支撑件是V形的。
4.根据权利要求1所述的加热软管组件,其中每个所述软管包括编织的铜加热元件。
