Abstract
本发明是一种润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液及其使用的方法。润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液各包括一种或多种醚胺化合物和表面活性剂。该醚胺化合物的每一种具有选自R1-O-R2-NH2,R1-O-R2-NH-R3-NH2的化学式,及其混合物,其中R1是直链或支链、饱和或不饱和的C6-C18烷基、R2是直链或支链的C1-C8亚烷基,和R3是直链或支链的C1-C8亚烷基。本发明的组合物除了其他助剂之外还包括使胺化合物增溶的表面活性剂以及任选的碱源和抗菌剂。
Description
本发明一般涉及醚胺基润滑剂和使用该润滑剂的方法。更具体而言,本发明涉及具有碱性pH的醚胺基润滑剂,该润滑剂在酸性污物存在下具有增强了的润滑性。
饮料和其他食物往往在机械化的输送机系统上进行加工和包装,该系统在包装和输送机的承载表面之间要加以润滑以减小摩擦。过去,在这些输送机系统的承载表面上一般使用的润滑剂典型地含有作为活性润滑成分的脂肪酸皂。
此外,至少在装瓶作业中非常希望润滑剂能有效地对在其上输送各种容器即罐、玻璃和PET制品的轨道加以润滑。脂肪酸润滑剂能有效地和这类容器的任一种配合使用。因此,这类润滑剂是用于各种饮料容器的“通用的”润滑剂。
这类脂肪酸润滑剂在过去提供了极好的润滑性。然而,已知脂肪类润滑剂在硬水中常含有的钙和镁阳离子存在下会形成不溶性沉淀。因此,必须将水软化剂和化学螯合剂例如EDTA与基于脂肪酸的润滑剂一起使用,以防止这种沉淀的生成。没有采取这类措施通常会导致生成沉淀,这些沉淀可能会堵塞用来将润滑剂施加到输送机的喷嘴。
抗菌剂特别适用于可能输送食品的输送机系统。饮料和其他食物洒落在输送机上往往导致细菌、酵母菌和霉菌的生长并可产生淤泥或污物从而妨碍输送机的运作而且还会有损于产品的纯度和外观。抗菌剂特别适用于减少淤泥在可能输送食品的输送机系统中的生成。
脂肪酸基润滑剂已经配以有效的抗菌剂,然而其与水硬离子反应的趋势会损害润滑剂的综合性能。还开发了脂肪酸润滑剂的代用品,然而这些组合物也有某些缺点。
例如,Jansen的美国专利4,839,067公开了一种通过用抗菌的润滑剂组合物处理输送带以维护链式输送带的方法,该组合物含有润滑量的中和了的C12-18伯脂肪胺。然而,如Jansen所指出,在例如通常以水中的杂质形式出现的SO4 -2、PO4 -3和CO3 -2阴离子存在下,伯脂肪胺趋向于形成沉淀。该沉淀会以和在水硬度存在下脂肪酸皂大致相同的方式堵塞喷嘴并污染输送机系统的表面。
Schmidt等人的美国专利5,182,035公开了一种用乙酸中和了的脂族醚二胺,该脂族醚二胺与用来增强物理稳定性的醇水溶助剂在润滑剂组合物中配合使用。
Remus的美国专利5,510,045和副本WO 95/26389公开了一种供玻璃、铝和拼合式PET容器使用的胺润滑剂组合物。该润滑剂组合物包括胺、水溶助剂和使pH保持在8以上的碱源的混合物。
Weber等人的美国专利5,062,978公开了基于中和了的脂肪烷基胺的水性润滑剂组合物,该组合物可用于特别是输送瓶子的输送带的操作。
Schapira在公开的欧洲专利申请0,533,522 A1中公开了包括中和了的支链的饱和或不饱和C6-C21烷基醚胺和二胺的润滑剂组合物,以提供水溶性和润滑性。该润滑剂组合物可用于输送机的操作且还可以包括表面活性剂和醇溶剂。
即使脂肪胺已被发现可提供足够的润滑性和抗菌活性,它们的有效性是有限的,这是由于在水中常含有的那些阴离子存在下生成沉淀的趋势所致。
因此,实质上仍然需要有一种抗菌的输送机用润滑剂,该润滑剂具有对含在用来稀释施加到输送机系统之前的润滑制剂的水中的阴离子和阳离子的耐受性以及在食品例如啤酒泼洒的情况下具有优质润滑性。
根据本发明的第一个方面,提供了一种润滑剂浓缩物,该浓缩物包括有效润滑量的一种或多种醚胺化合物。每种这类胺化合物具有选自以下的化学式,

R1-O-R2-NH-R3-NH2,

根据要求保护的本发明的另一方面,提供了一种采用润滑剂使用液润滑输送机系统的方法,该润滑剂使用液包括一种或多种胺化合物,该胺化合物的每一种具有选自以下的化学式,
R1-O-R2-NH2,
R1-O-R2-NH-R3-NH2,
及其混合物其中R1是直链或支链、饱和或不饱和的C6-C18烷基、R2是直链或支链的C1-C8亚烷基,和R3是直链或支链的C1-C8亚烷基。该润滑剂使用液还包括用来使胺化合物增溶的表面活性剂,和余量的水。该方法包括将润滑剂使用液施加到预定使用表面的步骤。
本发明是各自包括直链或支链、饱和或不饱和的烷基醚胺的润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液。即使有一些离子和通常具有pH3-4或更低的酸性饮料污物例如酸性啤酒污物存在,该烷基醚胺化合物仍可增进水性润滑剂使用液的润滑性。
由于减少了食品污物与润滑剂使用液之间的相互作用,本发明可降低输送机的污染。本发明的组合物还可以使润滑剂使用液对富含离子的水具有更大的耐受性。此外,本发明的润滑剂使用液还具有抗菌效力,在非食物接触的表面上5分钟内使菌落形成单位降低99.9%。
在本发明的上下文中,“润滑剂浓缩物”是指在使用前要稀释的组合物。而“润滑剂使用液”是指一旦稀释就施加到预定表面上的润滑剂组合物。
本发明是一种润滑剂浓缩物、润滑剂使用液以及一种使用润滑剂使用液的方法。该润滑剂浓缩物可以是固体或液体。
本发明的润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液包括直链和支链、饱和和不饱和的烷基醚胺化合物,它们可提供润滑性、抗菌性以及降低在使用环境中常常发生的各种沉淀的生成。
本发明的组合物包括表面活性剂增溶剂,除了其他组分之外还可以包括抗菌剂和碱源。本发明还包括使用要求保护的本发明的方法。
A.
烷基醚胺化合物
本发明的润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液包括胺化合物。该胺化合物可提供组合的润滑性、增进抗菌性并可降低或消除由于用水稀释而引起的各种沉淀的生成和/或施用表面上的污染物。
本发明的胺化合物可以包括许多种类。优选该胺化合物是下式的烷基醚胺化合物,

及其混合物其中R1可以是直链或支链、饱和或不饱和的C6-C18烷基、R2可以是直链或支链的C1-C8亚烷基,和R3可以是直链或支链的C1-C8亚烷基。
更优选R1是直链或支链的C12-C16烷基、R2是C2-C6的直链或支链亚烷基,和R3是C2-C6的直链或支链亚烷基。
优选本发明的润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液包括一种或多种具有R1以直链C6-C18烷基形式存在的胺化合物。当R1是直链烷基时,由润滑剂浓缩物产生的润滑剂使用液可提供增强的润滑性。
更优选本发明的润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液具有的pH大于9,没有任何附加的酸源,而具有一种或多种R1是直链C6-C18烷基的胺化合物。
优选本发明的组合物包括式(2)的直链烷基醚二胺化合物,其中R1是C12-C16烷基,R2是C3亚烷基,和R3是C3亚烷基。
当所用的胺化合物是式(1)和(2)的胺时,R1也可以是直链或支链的C12-C16烷基或C10-C12和C14-C16直链烷基的混合物。
用于本发明组合物的所有直链或支链烷基醚胺化合物,当稀释时,由于增强了润滑性均可保持较低的使用浓度。在润滑剂浓缩物中胺化合物的量通常约为0.1%(重量)-90%(重量)、优选约为0.25%(重量)-75%(重量)、更优选约为0.5%(重量)-50%(重量)。这些物料可按PA-19、PA-1618、PA-1816、DA-18、DA-19、DA-1618、DA-17、DA-1816等从Tomah Products Incorporated在市场上买到。
更具体而言,Tomah DA 1618是C12-14直链烷氧基丙基-1,3-二氨基丙烷;Tomah DA-18是C14直链烷氧基丙基-1,3-二氨基丙烷;Tomah DA-17是支链N-异十三烷氧基丙基-1,3-二氨基丙烷;和Tomah DA-19是直链烷氧基丙胺。
典型的烷基醚胺化合物通常是根据以下提供的反应式由直链或支链的C12或更高的烷基醇和丙烯腈配制以提供醚胺:

用水稀释润滑剂浓缩物结果产生润滑剂使用液,该润滑剂使用液优选经过计算以便在预定的施用或使用中提供润滑性。因此,在本发明的润滑剂使用液中,活性胺化合物的浓度约为10ppm至10000ppm、优选约为30ppm至5000ppm、更优选约为50ppm至2000ppm。
B.
表面活性剂
本发明的润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液还包括表面活性剂。该表面活性剂可起水溶助剂的作用以使水性润滑剂浓缩物和使用液中的醚胺增溶并增加相稳定性。该表面活性剂还可增加润滑剂使用液的去垢力。可以用作本发明的表面活性剂的化合物,除了其他化合物之外还包括非离子型表面活性剂。
非离子型表面活性剂通常是实质上不带电荷的疏水性化合物,而由于分子中氧的存在呈现出亲水的趋势。非离子型表面活性剂包括各种聚合物,这些聚合物特别包括,但不排除,烷氧基化的烷基酚、烷氧基化的脂族醇、烷氧基化的胺、烷氧基化的醚胺、羧酸酯、羧酸酰胺、以及聚氧化亚烷基醚嵌段共聚物。优选烷氧基是乙氧基或丙氧基且最优选乙氧基。
特别适用于本发明的润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液的非离子型表面活性剂是具有通式R1((CH2)mO)n的烷氧基化的(优选乙氧基化的)醇,式中R1是具有约8至约24个碳原子的脂族基团,m是1至约5的整数,n是1至约40的数,它代表分子上环氧乙烷基团的平均数。
已发现适用于本发明的非离子型表面活性剂包括可从StepanChemical Co.以Macon 9得到的具有约9.5摩尔乙氧基化的壬基酚乙氧基化物,和可从Shell Chemical Company以Neodol 25-9得到的具有约9摩尔乙氧基化的C12-15直链醇乙氧基化物。通过以下反应系列合成的乙氧基化的醚胺也是适用的:
通常,在润滑剂浓缩物中,表面活性剂的浓度约为0.1%(重量)至66%(重量)、优选约0.5%(重量)至50%(重量)。更优选表面活性剂的浓度约为1-30%(重量)。
C.
碱源
通常,本发明的润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液具有碱性的pH。本发明的润滑剂浓缩物具有的pH约为10或更大且优选约为10-13。而除表面活性剂和胺化合物以外,在没有附加任何碱源的情况下润滑剂使用液通常具有的pH大于约9.0,优选约9.5-13。然而,如果在本发明的润滑剂浓缩物或润滑剂使用液中添加了其他会降低润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液的pH的助剂,则可添加碱源。
一般特性的碱源仅限于在该体系中具有溶解性的化学组合物。即,该碱源不应提供会促使形成沉淀或盐层的金属离子。典型的碱源包括硅酸盐、氢氧化物、磷酸盐、碳酸盐和烷醇胺。
当存在时,碱源可以用来使组合物的pH提高到所需水平。因此,碱源的浓度可随碱源的类型和要求的pH升高在很大的范围内改变。
D.
抗菌剂
通常,润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液具有在接触5分钟的时间内可使菌落形成单位降低99.9%的抗菌效力。然而,如果需要增加抗菌效力,本发明的润滑剂浓缩物和润滑剂使用液也可以包括一种或多种抗菌剂。通常,任何具有抗菌效力的固体或液体的化学药剂均可用于本发明。已知在pH9或更大时可赋予抗菌效力的化学组合物包括碘递体、酚类化合物和季铵化合物。
用于本发明的抗菌剂优选的是阳离子型的表面活性剂例如烷基和苄基季铵化合物,诸如N-烷基(C12-18)二甲苄基氯化铵、N-烷基(C14-18)二甲苄基氯化铵、N-十四烷二甲基苄基氯化铵一水合物、二甲基二癸基氯化铵以及N-烷基和(C12-14)二甲基1-萘基甲基氯化铵,这些抗菌剂均可在市场上从厂商例如Stepan化学公司买到。
当存在时,抗菌剂必须具有对要求提供的作用所必需的有效浓度。通常,在润滑剂浓缩物中抗菌剂的浓度约为0.1-10%(重量)、优选约为1-8%(重量)、且最优选约为2-6%(重量)。
E.
助剂
本发明的润滑剂浓缩物和,同样,润滑剂使用液也可以包括一种或多种助剂以改善这些组合物的特性或性能。典型的助剂尤其包括粘度改进剂、抗污物再沉积剂、防腐剂、染料、香料、消泡剂、污物悬浮剂和增溶剂以及渗透剂。
配制
本发明的润滑剂使用液可以用润滑剂浓缩物配制,该润滑剂浓缩物随后稀释为润滑剂使用液供给定用途之用。通常,可根据胺化合物的浓度将润滑剂浓缩物稀释约10至10,000倍以提供润滑剂使用液。下表包括适合于本发明组合物的各种浓度的指标。

操作实施例
以下操作实施例说明本发明的各种性能、特性和示范性的实施方案。然而,这些实施例绝不意味着可解释为是对要求保护的本发明的限制。
操作实施例1
制备未中和的组合物及中和了的对照
通过在搅拌下将醚胺和乙氧基化的表面活性剂添加到水中制备组合物1-7。通过相分离证明,组合物3中的醚胺没有充分地被表面活性剂增溶。如同组合物7以较大的表面活性剂与胺之比再制备该组合物。这种组合物没有发生相分离现象。
对组合物1、2和4-7而言,pH超过11,这表明胺并未呈中和了的状态。通常,具有10个碳以上的烷基的未中和的饱和烷基胺是水不溶性的。通过用表面活性剂偶合可使这些组合物具有水溶性。
已用乙酸中和了的组合物8和9代表一些对比例。在组合物8和9中,由于用乙酸中和且包括了去垢性的表面活性剂,因而使醚胺增溶。组合物8和9的pH为7.0-7.5。

操作实施例2
润滑性
用自来水分别将润滑剂浓缩物6C和10C(“C”表示浓缩物)(如操作实施例1中所制备的)稀释到0.5%(重量),制备润滑剂使用液6D和10D(“D”表示稀释)。
滑动作用的测定
将润滑剂使用液6D和10D沿着测得直径为20.5厘米的抛光不锈钢盘的周边流动。将该盘连接到电动机上,并接通电源在匀速下旋转。将称重为189克的玻璃圆片放进测力传感器并放在不锈钢盘上通过润滑剂使用液6D和10D润湿的区域。当将电动机接通电源时,玻璃圆片即在不锈钢盘上自由滑动。通过测力传感器检测玻璃圆片和不锈钢盘之间的拉力,并传送给图表记录器。
为了保证试验方法的一致性,在试验之前或之后测定标准脂肪酸润滑剂使用液的拉力,并将得到的值任意地赋予1.00的摩擦系数。各次试验均参考该脂肪酸润滑剂使用液的试验,这样,所得结果以相对摩擦系数(COF)报出。COF越低,润滑性越好。

润滑剂使用液6D在没有和有酸性污物的情况下均显示出优良的润滑性。这可能是由于中和到碱性pH通过增溶提供的而不是润滑剂浓缩物中的胺类的中和所致。

Claims (18)
1.一种润滑剂浓缩物,该浓缩物包括:
a.0.1-90wt%的一种或多种醚胺化合物,所述胺化合物的每一种具有选自以下的化学式,
R1-O-R2-NH2,
R1-O-R2-NH-R3-NH2,
及其混合物其中R1是直链、饱和或不饱和的C6-C18烷基、R2是直链或支链的C1-C8亚烷基,和R3是直链的C1-C8亚烷基;和
b.0.1-66wt%的表面活性剂,在用水稀释时使所述醚胺化合物增溶,其中所述润滑剂浓缩组合物具有的pH为10-13。
2.权利要求1的组合物,其中所述醚胺化合物的浓度为0.25wt%-75wt%。
3.权利要求1的组合物,其中所述醚胺化合物的浓度为0.5-50wt%。
4.权利要求1的组合物,其中所述胺化合物是一元胺化合物,R1是直链的C12-C16烷基、和R2是C2-C6的亚烷基。
5.权利要求1的组合物,其中在所述润滑剂浓缩物中存在一种以上的醚胺化合物,至少一种所述醚胺化合物是一元胺化合物,R1选自直链的C10-C12烷基、直链的C14-C16烷基、及其混合物,和R2是C2-C6亚烷基。

15.权利要求1的组合物,其中所述润滑剂浓缩物是液体。
16.权利要求1或2的组合物,该组合物还包括碱源。
17.权利要求16的组合物,其中在用水稀释所述润滑剂浓缩物时,所述碱源的量必需提供pH大于9至多13。
18.权利要求1的组合物,其中R1是直链的C6-C18烷基,该润滑剂浓缩物的pH为10-13。
