A dual child and adult toilet seat assembly (20, 120) for mounting on a base (11) of a toilet unit (10) includes an adult toilet seat (24, 124) hinged to a base plate (21, 121), a child toilet seat (31, 131), and a toilet lid (36, 136) for enabling an adult or a child to comfortably use the toilet unit (10) by lifting or lowering the child toilet seat.
