Abstract

一种电连接器的固持装置,包括:主体部,呈板片状并有第一端缘及与其成一定角度且不平行的第二端缘;卡固部,自第一端缘处延伸而出,并呈突起状以嵌固于电连接器内部;导引部,其从主体部上冲压成型,导引部一部位与主体部板面不在一个平面上,以用于引导固持装置插入连接器;基板扣持部,其为自主体部第二端缘处向外延伸的一对扣持基板的扣爪,其延伸方向与卡固部延伸方向相垂直,该固持装置组装方便,固持可靠。

Description

电连接器的固持装置
本发明是涉及一种电连接器的固持装置,特别是指一种组装方便且能迅速定位的电连接器基板固持装置。
现有电连接器的固持装置,其结构至少包括卡固部及基板扣持部两部分,其中所述卡固部多为倒刺结构,以使所述固持装置能卡固于电连接器绝缘本体内,而所述的基板扣持部多设计成一对具有弹性的扣爪,以进一步将所述电连接器扣持于表面具有印刷电路的基板上。然而大多数的现有电连接器固持装置具有如下缺点:
(1)固持装置的结构过于复杂,使其在制造上或组装上较为繁琐。
(2)固持装置对电连接器的卡固方向与电连接器相对基板的插入方向或拔取方向相同,以致当所述电连接器在基板上插拔时,所述固持装置的卡固部与电连接器上相应的卡固结构易发生损坏现象,甚至可能因毁坏卡固部而使所述固持装置脱落。
另一些现有电连接器,虽改变其固持装置对电连接器的卡固方向,以使其卡固方向不同于电连接器相对基板的插拔方向,能避免所述卡固部受损问题。然而,此类电连接器的固持装置本身及绝缘本体内收容所述固持装置的结构仍十分复杂,制造中易产生较多的加工废料,制造成本增加,或当固持装置组装至电连接器时,因所述卡固部不易迅速定位及卡固,而使同一电连接器连接数个固持装置的对正位置不协调。另外,因绝大多数基板,相对所述固持装置的结构如通孔或焊盘配置都有特定的位置及大小,倘若所述固持装置在电连接器内卡固位置不一致,会导致所述基板扣持部的插入角度偏斜,降低所述电连接器对基板扣持的确准度。现有电连接器的固持装置可参考台湾专利申请第80202099、81207106、82204413、82206344、82216079、83207936及84101384号所示。
因此,为解决所述现有技术的问题,本发明的目的是提供一种组装特别方便的电连接器的固持装置,所述固持装置可强化对绝缘本体的固持,并且其卡固部的固持可靠。
为了实现本发明的所述目的,本发明提供一种电连接器的固持装置,将该电连接器固持于基板上,其中,该固持装置包括:主体部,呈板片状并具有第一端缘及与其成一定角度且不平行的第二端缘;卡固部,自邻近该主体部的第一端缘处延伸而出,并呈突起状以嵌固于电连接器内部;导引部,其从该主体部上冲压成型,该导引部至少一部位与该主体部板面不在一个平面上,以用于引导该固持装置插入该连接器;基板扣持部,其为自主体部第二端缘处向外延伸的一对扣持基板的扣爪。
为了实现本发明的所述目的,本发明还提供一种电连接器,具有:绝缘本体,其内设有收容空间及卡固室,且该收容空间的一侧一体延伸出导引槽,且该收容空间在其不同方向上分别形成装入口及伸出口以连通处部空间,该导引槽连通该装入口;固持装置,装设于该收容空间内,将该电连接器固持于基板上,该固持装置包括:主体部,呈板片状并具有第一端缘及与其成一定角度且不平行的第二端缘;卡固部,自邻近该主体部的第一端缘处延伸而出,并呈突起状以嵌固于电连接器内部;导引部,从主体部上冲压成型,使该导引部至少一部位与该主体部板面不在同一个平面,以用于引导该固持装置插入该连接器;当该固持装置从绝缘本体的装入口装设于绝缘本体的收容空间时,利用该固持装置导引部及绝缘本体的导引槽的配合,导引该卡固部移至该绝缘本体卡固室所在的位置,使该卡固部能顺利地嵌固于卡固室内;基板扣持部,为自主体部第二端缘处向外延伸一对扣持基板的扣爪。
本发明的电连接器的固持装置采用所述结构后,其导引部与绝缘本体的导引槽作用,可引导固持装置的卡固部迅速定位并卡固至绝缘本体的卡固室内,组装特别方便;同时,其所具有长条形凸体结构的卡固部,与绝缘本体内长条形的卡固室嵌合,可增强所述固持装置对绝缘本体的固持;并且,其对电连接器的卡固方向垂直于电连接器相对基板的插拔方向,当电连接器在基板上插拔时,其固持装置卡固部的固定可靠。
下面结合附图描述本发明的较佳实施例,其中:
图1为本发明电连接器的立体图;
图2为本发明电连接器的固持装置的主视图,其中所述固持装置的第三端缘与料带相连;
图3A为本发明电连接器的固持装置装设于绝缘本体内的局部立体剖视图,其中所述料带已被折断;
图3B为本发明电连接器的固持装置装设于绝缘本体内的侧视图。
如图1所示,本发明电连接器10具有绝缘本体100,在其两相对末端及邻近中间部位处设有收容空间110。再如图3A、3B所示,每一收容空间110在绝缘本体的侧壁102及底壁104处分别形成一装入口1022及一伸出口1044以连通外部空间,其中所述侧壁102邻近装入口1022的两侧还形成具有斜度的导斜面1024。且所述收容空间110还包括卡固室120及导引槽130,其中所述卡固室120为自所述收容空间110前方朝绝缘本体100内部延伸的一狭长槽状空间,而所述导引槽130为自收容空间110侧向延伸出的空间,且其延伸方向恰好垂直所述卡固室120的延伸方向,同时连通所述的装入口1022。此外,所述收容空间内的侧壁面形成一肩部140,位于所述卡固室120及伸出口1044之间。
又如图2及3A所示的固持装置200,其具有一呈板片状的主体部210,且所述主体部210至少设有第一端缘212、第二端缘214及第三端缘216,其中所述第一端缘212的边缘形成一细条状的卡固部220用以向主体部210外部延伸一特定长度,且所述卡固部220的前端形成倒刺结构2202,且所述第三端缘216的边缘可连接一料带150以作为料带折断区;所述第二端缘214,位于所述主体部210的底缘且介于所述第一端缘212和第三端缘216之间,其中所述第二端缘214的边缘延伸出一基板扣持部240,其为一对具有弹性的扣爪。此外,在所述主体部210的第一端缘212及第三端缘216间作冲压弯折,可形成一长条状的导引部230,其一端是一体连接主体部210的板面,另一相对自由端以垂直所述卡固部220延伸方向的形态,远离所述主体部210,藉此所述导引部230可与主体部210的板面不在一个平面上。
再如图3A所示的固持装置200装入电连接器10的状态,藉由绝缘本体侧壁102上导斜面1024的导正,可将所述固持装置200顺势插入绝缘本体100装入口1022内,且利用所述导引部230顺势插入绝缘本体100装入口1022内,且利用所述导引部230对准所述装入口1022的导引槽130插入,使所述导引部230沿着所述导引槽130的延伸方向行进,引领所述固持装置200进入所述的收容空间110内。当所述导引部230插入至收容空间110内部时,所述卡固部220可准确地卡固于绝缘本体100的卡固室120内,并使固持装置200第一端缘212及第三端缘216交会的一边角座落于绝缘本体100的肩部140上,藉此达到稳固固持的目的;此时,所述基板扣持部240可伸出所述伸出口1044外以扣持基板(未示),且所述主体部210的第三端缘216恰好可位于绝缘本体100的装入口1022附近,以便顺势折断其所连接的料带105,如此便完成固持装置200对电连接器10的组装,其装配结果可见图3B。因此,藉由固持装置200的导引部230与绝缘本体100导引槽130的作用,可迅速导引固持装置200的卡固部220至卡固室120,使组装更为方便。其次,因所述卡固部220为长条形结构,固持面积较大,故其在与绝缘本体内长条形的卡固室120结合时,能增加所述固持装置200对绝缘本体100的固持效果。再者,所述固持装置200对电连接器10的卡固方向垂直于电连接器10对基板的插拔方向,且因所述导引部130与所述主体部210不在一个平面,能增加卡固部220的卡固效果,因此当电连接器10在基板上插拔时,能避免所述固持装置200的卡固部220受损。

Claims (10)

1.一种电连接器的固持装置,将所述电连接器固持于基板上,其特征在于,所述固持装置包括:
主体部,呈板片状并具有第一端缘及与其成一定角度且不平行的第二端缘;
卡固部,自邻近所述主体部的第一端缘处延伸而出,并呈突起状以嵌固于电连接器内部;
导引部,其从所述主体部上冲压成型,所述导引部至少一部位与所述主体部板面不在一个平面上,以用于引导所述固持装置插入所述连接器;
基板扣持部,其为自主体部第二端缘处向外延伸的一对扣持基板的扣爪。
2.如权利要求1所述的电连接器的固持装置,其特征在于,所述主体部还具有作为料带折断区的第三端缘。
3.如权利要求1所述的电连接器的固持装置,其特征在于,所述卡固部呈一长条形的凸字形体。
4.如权利要求2所述的电连接器的固持装置,其特征在于,所述导引部介于所述主体部的第一端缘及第三端缘之间。
5.如权利要求1或4所述的电连接器的固持装置,其特征在于,所述导引部从主体部上弯折形成,其一末端一体连接所述主体部,另一相对末端则远离所述主体部。
6.一种电连接器,其特征在于,具有:
绝缘本体,其内设有收容空间及卡固室,且所述收容空间的一侧一体延伸出导引槽,且所述收容空间在其不同方向上分别形成装入口及伸出口以连通外部空间,所述导引槽连通所述装入口;
固持装置,装设于所述收容空间内,将所述电连接器固持于基板上,其特征在于,所述固持装置包括:
主体部,呈板片状并具有第一端缘及与其成一定角度且不平行的第二端缘;
卡固部,自邻近所述主体部的第一端缘处延伸而出,并呈突起状以嵌固于电连接器内部;
导引部,从主体部上冲压成型,使所述导引部至少一部位与所述主体部板面不在同一个平面,以用于引导所述固持装置插入所述连接器;
当所述固持装置从绝缘本体的装入口装设于绝缘本体的收容空间时,利用所述固持装置导引部及绝缘本体的导引槽的配合,导引所述卡固部移至所述绝缘本体卡固室所在的位置,使所述卡固部能顺利地嵌固于卡固室内;
基板扣持部,为自主体部第二端缘处向外延伸一对扣持基板的扣爪。
7.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于,所述主体部还具有作为料带折断区的第三端缘。
8.如权利要求7所述的电连接器,其特征在于,所述导引部介于所述主体部的第一端缘及第三端缘之间。
9.如权利要求6或8所述的电连接器,其特征在于,所述导引部从主体部上弯折形成,其一末端一体连接所述主体部,另一相对末端远离所述主体部。
10.如权利要求6所述的电连接器,其特征在于,所述固持装置装入所述装入口的方向是与所述固持装置基板扣持部伸出所述伸出口的延伸方向垂直。
