Description

Asset checking system and checking method adopting same
Technical Field
The invention relates to an inventory system, in particular to an inventory system and an inventory method for fixed assets.
Background
Most of the current asset inventory tags are Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) electronic tags, and the RFID tags receive electromagnetic waves of a reader and are used for supplying power.
In the related art, an asset inventory system includes a radio frequency identification-free tag, a reader antenna, and a server. The tag is connected to the asset through a connecting wire in a winding mode, and the tag provided with the magnet is adsorbed on the reader through a magnetic absorption circuit on the reader.
In order to be able to successfully read an rfid-less tag, the reader should transmit sufficient rf power to activate the rfid tag internal logic and return a signal to the reader with sufficient signal-to-noise ratio. This requirement sets a limit on the maximum tag range. However, due to the narrow-band nature of the signal, attenuation effects in real environments produce large variations in free space loss in the uplink and downlink directions and can prevent successful reading of tag information.
The related asset inventory tag has the following disadvantages:
the first disadvantage is that: the connection mode between the reader-writer and the label is unreliable, and the manufacturing cost is high;
the second disadvantage is that: when the connecting line is not conducted, if the assets move, the inventory information is unchanged, and therefore the inventory information is unreliable.
Therefore, there is a need to provide a new asset inventory system and an inventory method using the same to solve the above problems.
