Description

Operation method based on auxiliary display area and terminal equipment
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of terminals, in particular to an operation method based on an auxiliary display area and terminal equipment.
Background
With the thinning of terminal devices, the overall appearance of terminal devices such as smart phones, tablet computers, electronic readers and the like is generally flat and blocky. With the progress of science and technology, a side screen begins to appear in the terminal equipment except for the main screen; the main screen is usually arranged on the front side of the terminal equipment and is parallel to the terminal equipment; the side screen is usually arranged at the side of the main screen, connected with the main screen and forms a set included angle with the main screen.
Existing side-screen based methods of operation are generally limited to displaying some auxiliary information in the side screen, unlocking the main screen using the side screen, launching some applications using the side screen, or retrieving or locating content currently displayed in the main screen using the side screen.
For example, when the home screen of the terminal device is locked, an operation such as sliding is performed in the side screen to unlock the home screen. However, in this example, the side screen does not interact with the application or the displayed content in the main screen, and cannot interact with the deep-level or hidden content of the application.
For another example, when the terminal device views the mail, the main screen displays the mail text, and the side screen displays the volume of the attachment. However, the side screen in this example only serves as an auxiliary display and cannot interact with the deep or hidden content of the application.
For another example, the terminal device displays a desktop containing icons of a plurality of applications in the main screen, and displays shortcuts of the applications in the side screen; and starting the corresponding application by clicking a shortcut in the side screen. However, the side screen in this example cannot interact with the deep or hidden content of the application.
In summary, the utilization of the side screen is still at a relatively rudimentary level in the conventional operation method based on the side screen. How to deeply excavate the function based on the side screen and enhance the deeper interaction between the side screen and the application is an urgent problem to be solved.

The terminal device detects a selection operation for a certain schedule in the schedule information in the auxiliary display area in the bright screen state, and the selection operation mode is as described above, which is not described herein again.
After the terminal device determines the time period occupied by the selected schedule in the auxiliary display area, whether the time period of the schedule in the set date range is occupied is checked, and the date of the time period of the schedule in the set state (such as the occupied state and/or the idle state) is determined. The set date range may be all dates in the view range of the main display area, dates within a certain time period before and after the current date, or user-defined dates, for example, several dates selected by the user in advance.
The terminal device displays the dates with the time information corresponding to the schedules being in the set state (such as an idle state) in the main display area in a distinguishing manner in the set date range aiming at the schedules selected in the auxiliary display area so as to remind a user of arranging the schedules in the distinguished and displayed dates. The distinctive display may include at least one of: and adding a dotted line frame around the date, highlighting the date, other modes and the like.
FIG. 6 is a diagram illustrating a specific example of modifying a date to which a schedule belongs based on an auxiliary display area.
As shown in part a of fig. 6, the terminal device displays time information corresponding to the schedule selected in the auxiliary display area in the main display area as a date in an idle state, and a dotted frame is displayed around the date in the idle state.
Preferably, under the condition that the main display area is blank and schedule information is displayed in the auxiliary display area, if the terminal device detects a preset operation from the auxiliary display area to the main display area, the main display area is awakened, a date view is displayed in the main display area, and a date and/or an idle date with time information corresponding to the selected schedule as an occupied date and/or an idle date are respectively displayed in the date view, so that a subsequent user can reselect the date to which the schedule belongs, and the date to which the schedule belongs is modified.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 5b, the flow chart of the display and operation method based on the date to which the schedule belongs in the auxiliary display area further includes the following step S503 on the basis of the steps S501 to S502:
s503: based on the selection operation of the schedule in the auxiliary display area and the selection operation of the date in the main display area, the selected schedule is copied or stolen into the selected date.
It can be understood that, for the schedule selected in the auxiliary display area, the terminal device distinguishes the date in which the time information corresponding to the schedule displayed in the main display area is in the idle state, and is the date for scheduling the schedule that can be selected by the user.
And for the schedule selected in the auxiliary display area, the terminal device pops up a dialog box after detecting the selection operation of the date (namely the date for arranging the schedule) of which the time information corresponding to the schedule is in the idle state in the main display area, displays at least one modification command related to the date of the selected idle state, and prompts a user to modify the date to which the schedule of the selected item belongs. The modification command may include at least one of: copy command or move command.
For example, as shown in part B of fig. 6, the terminal apparatus pops up a dialog in the main display area for the date of the selected idle state, and displays a copy (command) key and a move (command) key associated with the date in the dialog.
The terminal device receives a selection operation of a modification command for the date of the selected idle state. The manner of selecting operation may be clicking, dragging, etc.
If the user clicks a copy button in the dialog box; the terminal device receives a selection operation of a copy command for the date of the selected idle state.
If the user clicks the move button in the dialog box, as shown in part B of fig. 6; the terminal device receives a selection operation of the move command for the date of the selected idle state.
After the terminal equipment receives the selection operation of the modification command aiming at the date of the selected idle state, the selected schedule in the auxiliary display area is copied or moved to the date of the selected idle state in the main display area according to the selected copy command or move command aiming at the date of the selected idle state.
Specifically, if the terminal device receives a copy command selection operation for the selected idle-state date, which indicates that the user selects to copy the selected date to the selected idle-state date, a new schedule is built in the selected date and in the same time period of the selected schedule, information of the selected schedule is copied to the new schedule, and then the display of the main display area is updated; at this time, the main display area can refresh and display the latest date view, and the auxiliary display area continues to display the schedule of the original date.
When the terminal device receives the selection operation of the move command for the selected idle state date, and the user selects to move the selected date to the selected idle state date, a new schedule is created in the selected date and in the same time period of the selected schedule, then the information of the selected schedule is copied to the new schedule, the schedule is deleted in the original date of the selected schedule, the display contents of the main display area and the auxiliary display area are updated, at the moment, the main display area can refresh and display the latest date view, and the auxiliary display area displays the updated schedule of the selected date. As shown in part C of fig. 6, this part is a display effect of the main display area and the auxiliary display area after moving one schedule of a certain day to a newly selected date.
In the second embodiment of the present invention, based on the selection operation of the schedule for the dates in the auxiliary display area, the dates in the idle state of the time period of the selected schedule can be determined, so that the user can select to modify the selected schedule into the dates in the idle state; the depth and the breadth of interaction between the user and the calendar application by utilizing the auxiliary display area are greatly enhanced, the function of the auxiliary display area is expanded, the level of utilizing the auxiliary display area is improved, the requirement of the user on deep level interaction of the calendar application is favorably met, the complexity of the deep level interaction is simplified, and the experience of the user is improved.
EXAMPLE III
The third embodiment of the present invention discloses a method for adjusting schedule time based on an auxiliary display area, the flow diagram of the method is shown in fig. 7, and the method includes the following steps S701 to S702:
s701: and detecting a trigger operation aiming at the object, and displaying schedule information of the set date in the auxiliary display area.
The method in this step is the same as the method in step S201, and is not described herein again.
S702: and adjusting the time information corresponding to the selected schedule based on the time adjustment operation in the auxiliary display area.
When the main display area of the terminal device is in a bright screen state, after detecting an adjusting operation aiming at the time (such as a time progress bar) of a schedule with a set date in the auxiliary display area, the terminal device adjusts the time information corresponding to the schedule according to the adjusting operation. The time information corresponding to the schedule may be a start-stop time of the schedule.
Preferably, if the main display area is in the screen-off state, the adjusting operation of the time of the schedule in the auxiliary display area is detected after the main display area is awakened.
The adjustment operation of the schedule time progress bar may be that after the user selects the schedule time progress bar of a certain schedule in the auxiliary display area, the duration of the whole schedule is not changed, and the schedule time progress bar of the schedule is dragged on the whole schedule time progress bar in the auxiliary display area, so as to adjust the start-stop time of the schedule.
The adjustment operation for the schedule time progress bar may also be that after the user selects a schedule time progress bar of a certain schedule in the auxiliary display area, the start-stop time of the schedule is changed by dragging up and down or other gestures, and meanwhile, the duration of the schedule is changed.
For example, the starting position of the schedule time progress bar is dragged upwards, and at this time, the starting time of the schedule is advanced and the duration is prolonged; or the starting position of the time progress bar dragging the schedule is downward, and the starting time of the schedule is delayed and the duration is shortened at the moment; or the end position of the time progress bar of the dragging schedule is upward, and the end time of the schedule is advanced and the duration is shortened at the moment; or the end position of the time progress bar dragging the schedule is downward, and the end time of the schedule is delayed and the duration is prolonged; or dragging the starting position of the schedule time progress bar upwards and the ending position downwards, wherein the starting time of the schedule is advanced, the ending time of the schedule is delayed, and the duration is prolonged.
Fig. 8 is a diagram illustrating a specific example of the terminal device adjusting the schedule time based on the auxiliary display area.
As shown in part a of fig. 8, the terminal device displays schedule information for a certain day in the auxiliary display area, and the user performs time adjustment of the schedule by dragging a time progress bar of the schedule.
Preferably, the terminal device determines the start-stop time of the schedule after adjustment according to the time length indicated by the schedule information of the set date in the auxiliary display area.
Specifically, the operation of adjusting the schedule time in this step may be used to change the granularity of time adjustment in combination with the scaling operation of the entire time progress bar in the auxiliary display area. During the operation of adjusting the schedule time, the time represented by the current whole-time progress bar can be displayed in the auxiliary display area to prompt the user to perform the granularity of the schedule time adjustment operation, for example, the current whole-time progress bar represents 12h (hours) or 5 h; the time unit and modified resolution of the entire timeline may be a system default or a user-defined value.
When the terminal device detects a time boundary of a schedule information dragged by a user, determining the starting time and the ending time of the corresponding modified schedule according to the proportion of the current schedule in the whole time progress bar and the time length represented by the whole time progress bar.
Preferably, the terminal device detects whether the schedule time adjusted by the user conflicts with the time of other schedules in the date in real time in the process of adjusting the start-stop time of the schedule.
And if the schedule with the time information adjusted conflicts with other schedules, adjusting the time information corresponding to the conflicting schedule according to the priority of the schedules.
Preferably, the adjusted time information may be the start and stop time of the schedule.
Determining a conflict type after detecting that the schedule in the adjustment starting and stopping time conflicts with other schedules in the auxiliary display area; displaying prompt information such as the priority of the schedule and/or conflict-free options and the like according to the conflict type; and adjusting the starting and ending time of the schedule according to the selection operation aiming at the conflict-free option.
Specifically, if the conflict type is that a schedule (for example, schedule a) for adjusting the start-stop time and other schedules (for example, schedule B) in the auxiliary display area have a temporal overlap, at least one of the following overlap-free options is displayed: and delaying the next schedule, aligning the previous schedule to the starting time of the next schedule, and covering the next schedule.
And adjusting the start-stop time of the previous schedule (such as the schedule A) and/or the subsequent schedule (such as the schedule B) according to the selected overlap-free option after receiving the selection operation of any one overlap-free option for the two schedules with overlap in time.
For example, as shown in part B of fig. 8, the terminal device pops up a dialog box in the main display area for adjusting schedule a in the start-stop time and schedule B in the auxiliary display area, and displays a switch key and a delay key in the dialog box. And if the terminal equipment detects the click operation aiming at the delay key, the time period of the next schedule B is carried forward.
And if the conflict type is that the schedules for adjusting the start-stop time and other schedules in the auxiliary display area are switched in time sequence, displaying the preset priority of the two schedules, the abstract content and switching options.
And after receiving the selection operation aiming at the switching option, switching the sequence of the two schedules according to the selected switching option.
For example, as shown in part B of fig. 8, the terminal device pops up a dialog box in the main display area for adjusting schedule a in the start-stop time and schedule B in the auxiliary display area, and displays a switch key and a delay key in the dialog box. After detecting selection operations such as clicking on a switch key, the terminal equipment confirms that the user selects to exchange the sequence of the schedules A and B, and then exchanges the time of the two schedules. Part C of fig. 8 shows the effect display after the exchange of two schedules.
In the third embodiment of the present invention, the time information of the schedule is adjusted based on the adjustment operation for the time of the schedule in the auxiliary display area; and when the schedule after the time is adjusted is detected to conflict with other schedules, a method for adjusting the time information corresponding to the schedule with the conflict is provided, so as to avoid the conflict, greatly enhance the interaction depth and breadth of the user with the calendar application by utilizing the auxiliary display area, expand the function of the auxiliary display area, improve the level of utilizing the auxiliary display area, be beneficial to meeting the requirement of the user on the deep interaction of the calendar application, simplify the complexity of the deep interaction and further improve the experience of the user.
Example four
The fourth embodiment of the present invention discloses a schedule attribute information modification method based on an auxiliary display area, and a flow diagram of the method is shown in fig. 9, and the method includes the following steps S901 to S902:
s901: and detecting a trigger operation aiming at the object, and displaying schedule information of the set date in the auxiliary display area.

In the state that the main display area is in a bright screen state or after the main display area is awakened, if the user does not select a certain date, the auxiliary display area does not display any schedule at the moment. The terminal device supports the user to perform new creation of a schedule by an operation in the auxiliary display area at this time, and supports new creation operations of a plurality of schedules.
The terminal device detects and receives a selection operation for a schedule time in the auxiliary display area.
Specifically, the user can set a schedule time by creating a new schedule through an operation in the auxiliary display area, for example, selecting a start-stop time and a duration of the schedule. The setting operation or the selecting operation may be performed by a single-finger slide, a double-finger pull, or the like on the auxiliary display area to obtain a time progress bar as an icon of the schedule, the time progress bar representing the time and duration of the schedule as described above. Further, the graphical icon of the schedule can also be other representations, such as time cakes, time blocks, and the like.
And after the terminal equipment detects the selection operation of the schedule time in the auxiliary display area, displaying an edit box of the schedule except the time, such as a place, an alarm clock reminder, time and the like, in the main display area. The terminal device may also pop up an edit box of other information in the main display area after the user stops the selection operation for the schedule time in the auxiliary display area. After the user finishes editing other schedule information, the terminal device detects the information saving operation of the user, wherein the operation can be a voice instruction, a gesture instruction or an operation key on a screen. When the operation of saving the information by the user is detected, the information editing frame disappears.
And then the terminal device calculates the date for arranging the newly-built schedule according to the time of the existing schedule of the user and the time of the newly-built schedule, and highlights the date in which the time information (namely the time period of the schedule) corresponding to the newly-built schedule is in an idle state or an occupied state in a calendar application interface of the main display area. Preferably, the terminal device automatically recommends the date in which the time information corresponding to the schedule newly created by the user is in the idle state. The date recommendation mode can also mark the time information corresponding to the newly-built schedule of the newly-built schedule as the date in the occupied state.
As an example of batch new schedules in the auxiliary display area is shown in part a of fig. 12, when the terminal device detects the operation of pressing and dragging the auxiliary display area on the idle time bar of the user, a dialog box automatically pops up in the main display area with the area pressed and slid by the user as the start and stop time of the schedule, and information required for new schedules, including the schedule name, the position, the alarm clock and the like, is displayed in the dialog box. And if the terminal device detects that the user clicks save, closing the dialog box, and then prompting the user for the dates selectable by using a dotted line box or other highlighting modes in the main display area, as shown in part B of fig. 12.
The terminal device detects and receives a selection operation of a date in the main display area.
Specifically, the terminal device detects the date in which the user selects one or more time information corresponding to the newly-built schedules as the idle state on the main display area, and newly builds the schedules in the selected dates according to the schedules selected in the auxiliary display area.
As shown in part B of fig. 12. After the terminal device detects that a user clicks a certain date frame in the main display area, highlighting the date and a time bar of the date selected in the auxiliary display area in the same color; as shown in part C of fig. 12, after the terminal device detects that the add key is clicked by the user, the schedule selected in the auxiliary display area is newly created within the dates highlighted (i.e., selected) in the main display area.
In addition, the invention also provides that the user can also select the date of the newly-built schedule in the main display area, the user can select at least one date, the terminal device determines the same idle time period in each selected date after detecting the operation of the user for selecting the date in the main display area, and visually displays the same idle time period in the auxiliary display area, the user can newly build the schedule time in the idle time period displayed in the auxiliary display area, and sets other information (name, position and the like) of the newly-built schedule in the main display area, and the terminal device simultaneously builds the new schedule in a plurality of selected dates according to the set schedule information after detecting the operation of the user for confirming the newly-built schedule.
In the fifth embodiment of the invention, an idle time period is selected in the auxiliary display area to newly build a schedule, at least one date in an idle state of the time period is displayed in the main display area for a user to select, and the user can select a plurality of dates at one time to newly build a schedule in batches; compared with the method that the user needs to repeatedly switch the interface every time a schedule is newly built on a date in the main display area, a large amount of operation is saved, and the convenience of the user for building the schedules in batches is greatly improved; therefore, the depth and the breadth of interaction between the user and the calendar application by utilizing the auxiliary display area are greatly enhanced, the function of the auxiliary display area is expanded, the level of utilizing the auxiliary display area is improved, the requirement of the user on deep level interaction of the calendar application is favorably met, the complexity of the deep level interaction is simplified, and the experience of the user is improved.

The seventh embodiment is applicable to the case where the auxiliary display area of the terminal device is wide enough, and is also applicable to the hyperbolic screen, which is not described herein again.
Example eight
The eighth embodiment of the present invention discloses a prefix number operation method for a communication number based on an auxiliary display area, where a flow diagram of the method is shown in fig. 16, and the method includes the following steps S1601 to S1602:
s1601: and displaying a call application interface in the main display area, and displaying a prefix number of the communication number in the call application in the auxiliary display area.
After detecting the triggering operation aiming at the call application, the terminal equipment displays a call application interface in the main display area and displays the prefix number of the communication number in the call application in the auxiliary display area.
A prefix number for a communication number, comprising at least one of: country code, area code, IP (Internet Protocol) code.
Specifically, when detecting that a user uses a series of call applications and functions related to a call, such as a contact, an address book, a call record, and the like, the terminal device displays a prefix number on an auxiliary display area of the auxiliary display area, where the auxiliary display area may be a single-sided screen or a double-sided screen, and may include a display area formed by appropriately expanding a hardware auxiliary display area portion to a main display area, and when the auxiliary display area is a single auxiliary display area, the terminal device may display different prefix numbers such as a country code, an area code, an IP number, and the like on the auxiliary display area according to the specific application at present, and display a country code, an area code, and the like on the contact and the address book at the time of dialing. In the dual auxiliary display area, the content to be displayed is too much, and can be divided into two parts to be displayed on two sides, if the content to be displayed is not much, the content can be displayed on one side, and the content can be displayed in the dual auxiliary display area. The displayed contents such as country code, area code, IP number, etc. can be used by the user recently, and can also support the user's custom setting.
Part a of fig. 17 shows an implementation specific example, the country code displayed in the country code section requires the terminal device to make an intelligent decision according to the user history data, for example, when the terminal device detects that the user is in the home country, the terminal device can intelligently display the country code that the user may use in the country code section according to the historical communication record, the location positioning record, the weather forecast area of the concerned foreign country, the search record and other data, if the terminal device detects that the user roams to the foreign country, the country code of the user's home country is preferentially displayed before the country code that may be used, and in addition, the country code that needs to be displayed can also be customized. The area number is displayed in the area number section, the display rule is similar to the country code, when a user registers in a mobile phone, the terminal equipment detects various data, the area code which the user may use is intelligently displayed, if the user roams to other places, the area code which the user registers is preferentially displayed, more user-defined IP number sections which are commonly used by the user are displayed by the IP codes. If the displayed country code, area code and IP number section are not fixed by user definition, the terminal equipment is required to record related data at any time, and the display sequence is dynamically adjusted when the address list function is used each time.
S1602: the selected communication number is updated based on the selection operation of the communication information in the auxiliary display area and the communication number selection operation in the main display area.
The terminal device displays the communication information including the prefix number of the communication number in the auxiliary display area after detecting that the user uses the address book function and selects the communication number in the main display area in the above step, wherein the prefix number includes a country code, an area code and an IP code.
Specifically, if the user wants to change the information stored in the address book according to the prefix number in the auxiliary display area, the user can store the country code, the area code or the IP number segment in the specific address book through a first association selection operation such as a specific drag gesture, for example, dragging the country code to a certain record in the address book can automatically change the address book.
S1603: based on the selection operation of the prefix number in the auxiliary display area and the communication number selection operation in the main display area, call processing is performed.
In the step, after detecting that the user uses the address book function and selects the communication number in the main display area, the terminal device displays the communication information including the prefix number of the communication number, wherein the prefix number includes a country code, an area code and an IP code, in the auxiliary display area, a second association selection operation aiming at the prefix number in the auxiliary display area and the communication number in the main display area is detected and received, and a communication calling can be carried out according to the selected prefix number and the communication number.
Specifically, if the user only wants to use the prefix number in the auxiliary display area according to the phone call, the user may perform the following second association selection operation: the contact list is dragged to the country code area to enter a dialing state, or the country code can be clicked first, and then the contact list is clicked to realize dialing.
For example, as shown in section B, C of fig. 17, when the area code and the country code displayed in the auxiliary display area are clicked and selected by the user, and the terminal device receives a selection operation for the area code and the country code in the auxiliary display area, and receives a second association selection operation, as shown in section D of fig. 17, a communication call is made based on the communication number in the main display area involved in the second association selection operation, and the selected area code and country code.
In fact, steps S1602 and S1603 described above are in parallel relationship, and step S1601 is optionally followed by step S1602 and/or step S1603.
In fact, when the user is in the home country, if the user calls abroad and forgets to add the country code, the system can be matched with the local call record after the dialing fails, and if the number is matched and a normal call exists before the number, the call is automatically replayed according to the previous dialing mode. On the contrary, if the user is abroad and wants to make a call to the country or other countries, the user can automatically replay the previously made call according to the mode after forgetting to add the country code and making an error.
In practical operation, the eighth embodiment of the present invention further supports an operation of adding a prefix number to a plurality of communication numbers based on the auxiliary display area.
And after receiving the selection operation aiming at the prefix number in the auxiliary display area, displaying the communication number in the communication application interface of the main display area as a state to be selected.
After receiving a selection operation for the communication number in the main display area, the communication number selected in the main display area is updated according to the prefix number selected in the auxiliary display area.
Specifically, when the terminal device detects that the user uses a call application or function such as an address book or a call log, a prefix status bar is automatically displayed in the auxiliary display area, and a plurality of prefix numbers are displayed in the prefix status bar, as shown in part a of fig. 18.
After detecting that the user clicks a certain prefix number in the auxiliary display area, the terminal device changes the call record or the address book in the main display area to a state to be selected, detects the collusion of the user on the communication number in the call record or the address book, and updates the prefix number of the colluded communication number after receiving the collusion operation on the communication number, as shown in part B of fig. 18. The communication number to be checked may be a single communication number or a plurality of communication numbers.
In an eighth embodiment of the present invention, the prefix number of the communication number is displayed in the auxiliary display area, so that a user can update the communication information related to the communication number displayed in the main display area or directly associate the communication number in the main display area to perform communication calling according to the prefix number in the auxiliary display area; compared with the method that the user searches for the prefix number based on the switching main display area, the method saves a large amount of operation of switching the interface of the main display area, greatly enhances the depth and the breadth of interaction between the user and the call application by utilizing the auxiliary display area, expands the function of the auxiliary display area, improves the level of utilizing the auxiliary display area, is beneficial to meeting the requirement of the user on deep level interaction of the call application, simplifies the complexity of the deep level interaction, and improves the experience of the user.

Example ten
The inventor of the invention finds that the digital information in the call information is not convenient to memorize in the call process of a user by using terminal equipment such as a mobile phone and the like. For the existing single-screen mobile phone, if a user records digits, the user needs to find a notepad application program through the operation of switching the screen, then records the notepad application program, and then returns to a call interface through the operation of switching the screen, so that the operation is complex.
In order to reduce the operation of switching screens when a user records numbers, the embodiment of the invention discloses a digital information recording method based on an auxiliary display area, the flow chart of the method is shown in fig. 21, and the method comprises the following steps S2101 to S2102:
s2101: and when the communication application is detected to be in a communication state, displaying a communication application interface in the main display area, and displaying digital type information in the auxiliary display area.
And when the terminal equipment detects that the call application is in a call state, the terminal equipment directly displays the numeric keyboard in the auxiliary display area.
Or when the terminal device detects that the call application is in a call state, if the start operation for the numeric keyboard is received, the numeric keyboard is displayed in the auxiliary display area.
Preferably, when the numeric keypad is displayed in the auxiliary display area, the numeric type information is displayed in the auxiliary display area. The number type includes at least one of: communication number, identification number, account number, and user-defined. The number type information includes a format and an identification of the number type, for example, the identification of the number type may be an icon.
Specifically, when the user is performing a voice call or a video call, the terminal device detects an action of the user to open the numeric keypad, and then places the numeric keypad in the auxiliary display area, or the terminal device may directly place the numeric keypad in the auxiliary display area during the call. Meanwhile, icons representing digital types, such as telephone numbers, ID (IDentification) numbers, bank account numbers and other commonly used digital types, can be displayed in the auxiliary display area, and the terminal equipment also supports the user to define the icons of the digital types. When the user is in a video call, the terminal device detects an action of the user to place the numeric keyboard in the auxiliary display area, wherein the action can be a touch, a stroke, a gesture or a voice command. When this action is detected, the terminal device moves the numeric keypad and numeric type control to the auxiliary display area for display, as shown in part a of fig. 22. Preferably, the display may be in such a manner that numeric keys and numeric type controls are displayed on one side as shown in section B of fig. 22. If the display area is double auxiliary display areas, the number keys and the number keys can be displayed on the same side or can be displayed separately on two sides.
Preferably, an embodiment of the present invention further provides a method for recording digital information by a terminal device in a main display area information screen state, where the method includes: and when the terminal equipment detects that the call application is in a call state, if the situation that the user is far away from the equipment and exceeds a set distance or the situation that the equipment is inserted into an earphone is detected, displaying a numeric keyboard in the auxiliary display area, and closing the display of the main display area.
Specifically, the terminal device detects a state where the user leaves the handset during a call, such as sensor detection (distance sensor, camera), and a state where the headphone jack is inserted into the headphone, and then the terminal device moves a control such as a numeric keypad, a numeric button, and a numeric icon during the call to the auxiliary display area, and closes the main display area display, as shown in part a of fig. 23.
S2102: a digit input operation during a call and a digit type selection operation in the auxiliary display area are detected, and the selected digit type and the input digit are displayed in association in the main display area.
After the terminal device expands the numeric keyboard and the identifier (such as an icon) of the numeric type in the auxiliary display area in the above step, in this step, the terminal device detects the selection of the numeric type by the user, detects the typing action of the numeric key in the auxiliary display area by the user, receives the numeric input operation of the user through the numeric keyboard in the auxiliary display area and the selection operation of the icon of the numeric type, and records the received numeric and the numeric type as the numeric and the numeric type selected by the user.
The terminal device can correspondingly display the identification of the number type and the input number, and can also display the number according to the format of the number type. Further, the terminal device may display the identification of the number type and the input number or display the number according to the format of the number type during the call or after the call is ended.
Preferably, the terminal device displays the received digits and the digit type on the main display area according to the format of the digit type in an area that does not block main information in the main display area, such as a non-face area of the head portrait of the other party in the video call, as shown in part B of fig. 21.
Preferably, after the call of the call application is detected to be finished, the recorded numbers are displayed in a text form, the application related to the number type corresponding to the numbers is determined, and the icon of the application is displayed in the auxiliary display area; or after the call of the call application is detected to be finished, the recorded numbers are displayed in a voice mode, the application function related to the number type corresponding to the numbers is determined, and the application function is displayed in the auxiliary display area.
Specifically, when the terminal device detects that the user has finished the call, the digital information recorded in the call is automatically popped up on the main display area screen, and the popped-up form may be a notepad, a temporary text, or a temporary voice prompt (for example, whether to view or store the numbers recorded in the call is prompted), and the like.
If the digital information is displayed in text form, the terminal device will provide the recommended application to the user according to the type of digits selected by the user during the call. For example, if it is detected that the user records a telephone number, the terminal device provides applications such as dialing, storing an address book, and the like, and an icon of a recommended application may be displayed in the auxiliary display area, as shown in part C of fig. 22. If the terminal equipment pops up in the form of voice prompt, the terminal equipment can recommend operation to the user directly according to the data type.
When a user selects a certain recommended application, the terminal equipment can automatically fill the numbers recorded in the call into the corresponding position of the application.
For example, as shown in part C of fig. 22, if it is detected that the user selects an icon of the call application (or function) in the auxiliary display area, a call is made directly with the call application in accordance with the number (communication number) displayed on the text in the main display area; and if the fact that the user selects the icon of the address book application (or function) in the auxiliary display area is detected, popping up a new function of the address book, and automatically filling the recorded digits into the new address book as communication information.
Preferably, when the user records a plurality of digit strings in a call, the digit strings can be sequentially displayed in a text, the recommended operation is displayed on the auxiliary display area, the terminal device detects which digit string is touched by the user, and the recommended operation is displayed on the auxiliary display area. Or the digit strings are displayed in sequence in the text and the recommended action is displayed next to each digit string on the main display area.
Preferably, in the screen-off state of the main display area, an action of the user selecting a digit type and typing a digit in the auxiliary display area is detected, and then only the digit recorded by the user is displayed in the main display area, and the other areas except for the displayed digit in the main display area are kept in a black screen state, as shown in part B of fig. 23. When the call ends, the recommended operation is displayed in the auxiliary display area, as shown in part B of fig. 23. Therefore, the digital information can be recorded, stored and displayed in the call process without lighting the whole main display area, and the electric quantity is saved.
In a tenth embodiment of the present invention, digital information and digital type information of a call process are displayed in an auxiliary display area; according to the digital type selected by the user aiming at the digital information, the digital information and the type are correspondingly recorded, compared with the conventional method that the user needs to switch the main display area to record the digital information and the digital type in the call, a large amount of operations for switching the interface of the main display area are saved, and the convenience for recording the digital information and the digital type is greatly improved; after the communication is detected to be finished, the digital information is displayed according to the digital type, and the corresponding application or operation is recommended for the user, so that the trouble that the user manually finds the corresponding application or operation is avoided; therefore, the depth and the breadth of interaction between the user and the call application by utilizing the auxiliary display area are greatly enhanced, the function of the auxiliary display area is expanded, the level of utilizing the auxiliary display area is improved, the requirements of the user on the deep level interaction of the application are favorably met, the complexity of the deep level interaction is simplified, and the experience of the user is improved.
EXAMPLE eleven
The inventor of the present invention finds that the use of some applications usually depends on some settings of the system, for example, a map function requires some kind of positioning support, and web browsing requires web connection support. Generally, when an application program detects that a relevant setting is not started, a system automatically pops up a set prompt window, and switches to a system setting interface to allow a user to set after detecting that the user selects the setting. If the user wants to continue to use the application program after the setting is finished, the user needs to switch back to the interface of the application program to continue to use the functions of the application program. Such switching operation is very cumbersome.
In order to reduce or avoid interface switching operations of an application program caused by lack of permissions or requirement of parameter setting, a eleventh embodiment of the present invention provides a method for setting application options or parameters based on an auxiliary display area, where a flowchart of the method is shown in fig. 24, and the method includes the following steps S2401 to S2402:
s2401: and after detecting that the application is started, displaying an application interface in the main display area, and displaying setting information required by running the application in the auxiliary display area.
And after detecting that the application is started, displaying an application interface in the main display area.
And after receiving the confirmation operation of the user for the application setting through the application interface, displaying the setting information of the application in the auxiliary display area.
Alternatively, when it is detected that the application needs to be set (for example, when the authority is absent or there is an optional parameter), the setting information of the application is displayed in the auxiliary display area without a confirmation operation of the user input for the application setting.
Taking map application as an example, in the present invention, when a user opens the map application, if the terminal device detects that the current GPS is in an off state, the terminal device pops up a setting reminder in the main display area, and when an operation that the user determines to set is detected, the set options a-GPS, GPS only, and Turnoff are displayed on the auxiliary display area, as shown in part a of fig. 25.
Or, when the user opens the map application, the terminal device displays the setting options directly in the auxiliary display area if it detects that the current GPS is in the off state.
S2402: based on the setting operation in the auxiliary display area, the application is executed.
After detecting and receiving a selection operation of setting information (e.g., setting options) in the auxiliary display area, the application is executed according to the selected setting information.
Taking the map application as an example, after the terminal device detects that the user selects the setting option in the auxiliary display area, the terminal device runs the map application according to the authority or the parameter corresponding to the selected setting option and displays the map application in the main display area, as shown in part B of fig. 25.
In fact, the setting mode of the authority or the parameter for the application can also be used for other setting operations, such as a setting reminder for popping up an open network when a webpage is opened.
In the eleventh embodiment of the present invention, setting options such as permissions or parameters that are lacking or needed for an application are displayed in the auxiliary display area; the user can directly set the authority or the parameters aiming at the application in the auxiliary display area, and compared with the conventional method that the user needs to switch the main display area setting parameters and then switch the original application, the method saves a large amount of operations for switching the main display area interface and greatly improves the convenience for setting the application authority or the parameters; therefore, the depth and the breadth of interaction between the user and the application by utilizing the auxiliary display area are greatly enhanced, the function of the auxiliary display area is expanded, the level of utilizing the auxiliary display area is improved, the requirements of the user on the deep level interaction of the application are favorably met, the complexity of the deep level interaction is simplified, and the experience of the user is improved.
Example twelve
The inventor of the invention finds that at present, because the display area of the terminal device of the single-sided screen is limited, a plurality of controls are folded, such as number keys and symbol keys during text input; also, for example, the thickness of a palette, a painting brush, a line, etc. in painting applications. When the user edits the text, the user needs to click on the folding keys and then select the folding keys, so that the user needs to switch the selection back and forth, and the operation is complex.
In order to reduce the switching operation caused by operating the folding control, a twelfth embodiment of the present invention provides a method for unfolding and displaying the folding control based on the auxiliary display area, where a flowchart of the method is shown in fig. 26, and the method includes the following steps S2601-S2602:
s2601: the control object is displayed in the main display area.
And the terminal equipment displays the text to be edited and the folded control object in the main display area. Preferably, the control object can be a folded button or a drawing control.
Specifically, the terminal device supports the unfolding of the folded control object in the auxiliary display area, and avoids the control object switching in editing to the greatest extent.
The terminal equipment takes text editing as an example for text application, and when a user edits the text, the symbolic keys and the numeric keys in the character keyboard of the main display area screen are folded keys.
The terminal device displays an image to be edited and a folded drawing control in the main display area for a drawing application.
S2602: and detecting the selection operation of the user for the control object, and expanding and displaying the next-level display information and/or the sub-control corresponding to the control object in the auxiliary display area.
And for the application, the terminal equipment expands and displays the next-level display information and/or the sub-control of the folded control object in the main display area in the auxiliary display area after receiving the selection operation aiming at the folded control object in the main display area.
Specifically, after the terminal device detects a selection operation for the folding key displayed in the main display area, the selection operation may be an operation of pressing or sliding to the auxiliary display area, and then the terminal device displays the displayed key in the auxiliary display area as the next-level display information of the folded key.
For example, the expanded symbol keys are displayed in the auxiliary display area, and common symbols may be displayed for the upper half and the class of symbols may be displayed for the lower half, as shown in fig. 27A.
Preferably, if the expanded content is too much to be fully displayed in the auxiliary display area, the terminal device allows the user to select the next level of displayed information and/or sub-control by sliding the auxiliary display area up and down.
And for the drawing application, the terminal equipment expands the folded drawing control in the main display area into a drawing sub-control and displays the drawing sub-control in the auxiliary display area after receiving the selection operation of the folded drawing control in the main display area. For example, the drawing child control may be embodied as icons of various colors in a palette.
Fig. 27B shows an example in which the terminal device unfolds the folded palette in accordance with the user's operation in the drawing function.
Preferably, the terminal device edits according to a selection operation for the next-level display information and/or the sub-control which is expanded and displayed in the auxiliary display area, and displays an editing result in the main display area.
The terminal device edits the text content to be edited displayed in the main display area according to a selection operation such as a symbol key and/or a letter key for display in the auxiliary display area for the text application, and displays the editing result in the main display area.
The terminal device performs editing such as coloring of drawing contents such as a picture to be edited displayed in the main display area in accordance with a selection operation for icons of various colors in a palette displayed in the auxiliary display area for a drawing application, and displays the editing result in the main display area.
In the twelfth embodiment of the present invention, the control object displayed in the main display area in a folded manner is displayed in the auxiliary display area in an unfolded manner; the user does not need to switch the main display area selection control and then switch back the editing interface to edit the content to be edited, the control which is expanded and displayed in the auxiliary display area can be directly selected to edit the content to be edited displayed in the main display area, a large amount of operations for switching the main display area interface are saved, and the convenience for editing the content is greatly improved; therefore, the depth and the breadth of interaction between the user and the application by utilizing the auxiliary display area are greatly enhanced, the function of the auxiliary display area is expanded, the level of utilizing the auxiliary display area is improved, the requirements of the user on the deep level interaction of the application are favorably met, the complexity of the deep level interaction is simplified, and the experience of the user is improved.
EXAMPLE thirteen
The inventor of the present invention finds that, for a terminal device configured with only a single screen (main display area), when a user records content by using such a terminal device, the user may need to move a cursor, sometimes because the font is small or the screen is small, the cursor cannot always be conveniently and accurately positioned, and naturally, the text cannot be accurately positioned by the cursor.
In order to improve the accuracy of positioning objects such as a cursor, a thirteenth embodiment of the present invention provides a cursor positioning method based on an auxiliary display area, where a flowchart of the method is shown in fig. 28, and the method includes the following steps S2801 to S2803:
s2801: displaying the content to be edited in the main display area.
And after receiving the trigger operation aiming at the content to be edited, the terminal equipment displays the content to be edited in the main display area.
S2802: and detecting a selection operation for the content to be edited in the main display area, and displaying the selected content to be edited in the auxiliary display area.
The user can directly select a certain line of content displayed in the main display area, the terminal device detects the selection operation aiming at the line of content, and the line of content is taken as the selected content to be edited.
Preferably, the user may position the cursor in the main display area to the line or the vicinity of the content that the user desires to select, the terminal device detects that the cursor does not move any more within a set time period, confirms that the selection operation is received, and takes the content in the line where the cursor is located or within a preset range around the position where the cursor is located as the selected content to be edited.
Taking text content as an example, after a user locates a line in the text in the main display area, if the position of the cursor in the line is incorrect, the cursor can be accurately located by operating in the auxiliary display area. After a particular row in the primary display area is selected, if the user clicks on the secondary display area, the cursor moves to the secondary display area.
For example, part a of fig. 29 is an example in which the terminal device detects a line designated by the user, and part B of fig. 29 is an example in which the content of the line is displayed on the auxiliary display area.
The auxiliary display area is used for selecting the row where the cursor is located to be displayed in the auxiliary display area, the length of the auxiliary display area is generally longer than the width of the terminal equipment, a line of characters can be displayed in an enlarged mode when being displayed in the auxiliary display area, and the selection operation can be a gesture of pressing for a long time.
When the auxiliary display area is displayed, the auxiliary display area can be displayed according to the row word sequence or the column word sequence according to the setting of a user; when displaying, the characters can be displayed in a widened manner, or the character spacing of one line can be displayed in an enlarged manner according to the ratio of the display length of the auxiliary display area to the display width of the main display area.
S2803: a content editing operation in the main display area or the auxiliary display area is detected, and edited content is displayed in the main display area and the auxiliary display area in synchronization.
The user moves the cursor in the auxiliary display area, and the corresponding cursor in the main display area moves accordingly.
Specifically, after the row in the main display area is selected in the above steps, in this step, the user continues to move the cursor in the main display area, and then moves the cursor in the auxiliary display area, at this time, the auxiliary display area plays a role in enlarged display.
Preferably, after a deletion operation for the content to be edited in the auxiliary display area is received, the display of the deleted content is synchronously eliminated in the auxiliary display area and the main display area.
Specifically, after a (text) line in the main display area is enlarged to the auxiliary display area for display, in addition to the selection of the cursor, other editing operations may be performed in the auxiliary display area, for example, a deletion operation may be performed in the auxiliary display area, after the auxiliary display area is pressed for a long time and the selected content is dragged, the deletion operation may be performed by sliding to the left or right, after part of information is deleted in the auxiliary display area, the corresponding main display area may sequentially complement the following information to the line, and at the same time, the auxiliary display area refreshes and displays new information of the line.
Preferably, after the terminal device receives the selection operation of the content to be edited at the cursor stop position in the auxiliary display area, the selected content is synchronously displayed in the auxiliary display area and the main display area.
In fact, the terminal device can also enlarge and display the content to be edited at the cursor in the auxiliary display area in real time.
The inventor of the present invention finds that, in the existing single-screen terminal device, the content displayed on the screen is enlarged, and the enlarged content is usually attached to the originally displayed content directly, so that the originally displayed content is shielded.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal device can also amplify and display the information near the position of the cursor on the auxiliary display area in real time by using the auxiliary display area, and the auxiliary display area plays a role of a magnifier. As shown in portions C and D of fig. 29, no disturbance such as occlusion is generated to the content displayed in the main display area.
In a thirteenth embodiment of the present invention, the content to be edited selected in the main display area is displayed in the auxiliary display area in an enlarged manner; the user can more accurately position, move, edit and the like the content to be edited according to the amplified and displayed content to be edited; moreover, the content displayed in the auxiliary display area in an enlarged manner does not generate interference such as shielding on the content displayed in the main display area; the convenience of positioning the content to be edited is greatly improved; therefore, the depth and the breadth of interaction between the user and the application by utilizing the auxiliary display area are greatly enhanced, the function of the auxiliary display area is expanded, the level of utilizing the auxiliary display area is improved, the requirement of the user on deep level interaction of the application is favorably met, the complexity of the deep level interaction is simplified, and the experience of the user is improved.
