In the closed position, the edge of the top cover 118 abuts against the sloped lip of the bottom cover. The collar seals the opening against the nozzle.

Once the rib 190 is disengaged from the annular groove 168, the cap can be easily screwed off the nozzle. The cam member in this embodiment allows the closure to be turned clockwise to any desired position without the risk of over tightening and without the risk of the bottom cap becoming loose from the hose.
