Abstract
本发明是关于聚氯乙烯(PVC)热稳定剂甲基锡硫醇酯化方法,其方法是将原料提纯和酯化合并为一步完成,将中间体用溶剂溶解,过滤除去杂质,再加巯基酯,滴加碱液进行酯化反应,反应物经后处理得到无色油状液体产品。
Description
本发明涉及化工技术,具体涉及一种制备聚氯乙烯(PVC)热稳定剂甲基锡硫醇酯混合物的制备方法。
目前,有机锡化合物用在PVC树脂作为热稳定剂早有专利报导,如美国专利3222317、3396185等,主要是丁基锡和辛基锡等的成本较高,另因丙基锡有气味,而乙基锡有毒而被取代。
七十年代美国MORTON公司开发的甲基锡巯醇酯,其商品名为AOVATABT TM-181FS,是一种广泛用于PVC和PVC共聚物树脂的高效稳定剂,AOVATABT TM-181FS具有多种特性,它与PVC以及其他助剂有良好的相容性,能提高制品的透明度,可用于吹塑成型,在用量较低的情况下也具有优良的耐热和光稳定性,在加工时提高了加工稳定性,并且提高和改善了初始着色,甲基锡硫醇酯稳定剂在PVC粉末混料时,可降低熔融粘度,增加流动性,用量在0.1-0.5%(重量)之间,甲基锡硫醇酯稳定剂加工特性,适用于严格PVC加工,单螺杆或双螺杆挤塑、注塑、吹塑、压延等加工方法,而用于PVC的甲基锡硫醇酯稳定剂按锡含量分成三类:普通型(锡含量16-18%(重量))、高含量型(锡含量为23-25%(重量))和低含量型(锡含量为7-8%(重量)),其中普通型效果最为理想。
关于甲基锡硫醇酯稳定剂的毒性问题,根据Barnes和Stoner资料报导,及二甲基锡二氯化物给兔子作静脉注射,其毒性比其他的二烷基锡二氯化物小,用甲基锡硫醇酯稳定剂进行口服毒性和皮肤眼睛刺激性试验,口服毒性(LD50)比二丁基锡双(巯基乙酸异辛酯)毒性小,属于低毒。
甲基锡硫醇酯的制备方法,七十年代就有专利报导,如美国专利3810868、3887519等,其方法是把原料中间体巯基乙酸异辛酯、水、碳酸氢钠、庚烷(溶剂)加到反应器内,滴加二甲基锡二氯化物溶液进行反应,反应产出物经后处理,得到产品,这种方法比较复杂,虽然加入大量溶剂,但是原料得不到提纯,产品质量不理想。
另一种方法是用二甲基锡氧化物为原料与巯基乙酸异辛酯反应制得稳定剂,虽然方法比上述合成方法简单,但是原料中间体二甲基锡氧化物价格昂贵,其生产工艺过程较复杂,要经过几步反应才能得到,提高了生产成本。
氧化物反应式:
本发明的目的在于,把中间体提纯和酯化反应一步进行,这种方法特别适用于中间体质量不合格情况下合成出质量好的产品,制得的产品纯度较高,收率可达98%以上。
本发明的目的是通过以下技术方案实现的,把原料中间体(包括质量不合格的中间体)甲基锡氯化物溶于三氯甲烷中溶解,溶液过滤除去杂质和催化剂,滤液加入巯基酯,滴加碱液,滴加碱液的浓度在5-30%(重量),最佳浓度为15%,反应温度10-60℃,最佳温度是20-25℃,反应时间1-5小时,最佳时间2小时。
本发明稳定剂所产生的积极效果是:甲基锡硫醇酯(TM-118)与二丁基锡双(巯基乙酸异辛酯)(TM-180)进行性能比较试验,其结果TM-118表现出优良的加工稳定性。关键是本发明方法是工艺比较简单,克服了过去存在的问题,提高了产品的质量和收率,降低了生产成本。
本发明技术内容和应用,通过以下最佳实施例加以详细说明如下:
甲基锡硫醇酯的制备例1:反应式
称取100克中间体(二甲基锡二氯化物和甲基三氯化物)混合物加到500ml三口瓶中,再加入200ml三氯甲烷,搅拌升温到50-55℃使中间体完全溶解,保温过滤除去不溶杂质,滤液加巯基酯178克进行混合,同时把温度降至20-25℃,滴加碱液(3克氢氧化钠加200ml水配制成浓度15%的碱液)滴加约40-50分钟,静置分层除去水层,有机层用200ml水洗涤一次,静置20分钟除去水层,有机层在100℃进行真空蒸馏,过滤得到232克无色油状产品,收率达98%(重量),锡含量19.5%(重量),折光率1.5108(25℃),比重1.17(25℃)。例2:反应式
把204克(1.0克分子)巯基乙酸异辛酯和82克(0.5克分子)二甲基锡氧化物加到三口瓶中,加热升温到100℃,在此温度下,保持反应1小时,反应液静置分层除去水层,有机层用水洗涤,产品在真空下蒸馏脱水干燥,得到透明油状液体产品251.1克(收率99%)。
产品分析结果
在重量比例来看,锡含量20.3%,硫含量11.6%,折光率(25℃)1.5110,比重(25℃)为1.15。例3反应式:
称取100克中间体(二甲基锡二氯化物和甲基锡三氯化物)混合物加到500ml三口瓶中,再加200ml三氯甲烷,搅拌升温到50-55℃使中间体完全溶解,保温过滤除去不溶杂质,滤液内加巯基丙酸异辛酯214克进行混合,同时把温度降至20-25℃,滴加碱液(35克氢氧化钠,加水200ml配制成15%碱液)滴加约40-50分钟,静置分层除去水层,有机层用200ml水洗涤一次,静置20分钟除去水层,有机层在100℃真空蒸馏,过滤得到242克无色透明油液体(收率98%)
产品分析结果:
锡含量:20.1%(重量),硫含量:10.9%(重量),折光率为(25℃)1.5106。例4

由上表可知TM-118即使在用量较低的情况下,其初期着色也比TM-180出色。

由上表可看出,在加工稳定性和加工过程的颜色稳定性方面均明显胜过TM-180,用量低时也如此。TM-118不管在双螺杆挤塑,还是单螺杆挤塑,即使在它的用量比TM-180少20%时,都表现出良好的加工性能。

Claims (5)
1、一种甲基锡硫醇酯混合物的制备方法,其特征是:将原料甲基锡氯化物用三氯甲烷溶解,过滤除去杂质,加巯基酯,滴加浓度为5%~30%重量的碱液使得PH值在6.5-7之间,其中,反应时间1-5小时,反应温度10-60℃,其反应物经后处理,合成过程是原料提纯和酯化合成合为一步完成,收率达到98%。
2、根据权利要求1所述甲基锡硫醇酯混合物的制备方法,其特征是:所述混合物包括如下结构式:(a)结构式:由65-95%(重量)(b)结构式:由5-35%(重量)CH3-Sn-[S(CH2)nCOOR]3(c)结构式:不超过0.6%(重量)(a)、(b)、(c)结构式中的R是含有1到20个碳原子的烷基环烷基或苯基,式中n是1至3间的整数。
3、根据权利要求1或2所述甲基锡硫醇酯混合物的制备方法,其特征是:上述(a)、(b)、(c)结构式里的R是烷基环烷基或苯基,且此稳定剂半致死量LD50不小于1000。
4、根据权利要求1或3所述甲基锡硫醇酯混合物制备方法,其特征是:上述化学结构式中的R是4到12个碳原子的烷基,n是1到2的整数。
5、根据权利要求1所述甲基锡硫醇酯混合物制备方法,其特征在于,上述混合物含有化合物(a)结构式71-81%(重量),(b)式化合物不超过29-19%(重量),(c)式化合物不超过0.6%(重量)。
