Abstract

相关技术的背景
用于臭氧层保护的蒙特利尔议定书命令逐步淘汰氯氟碳类(CFC)的使用。对臭氧层更“友好”的材料,像氢氟烷类(HFC),如HFC-134a,替代了氯氟碳类。后者的化合物已证明是温室气体,引起了全球变暖,并且受关于气候变化的京都议定书所管辖。所出现的替代材料,氢氟丙烯类,表明是环境可接受的,即他们具有零臭氧消耗潜势(ODP)以及可接受的低全球变暖潜势(GWP)。

发明简述
现在已经发现金属盐可以起到稳定包含催化剂和发泡剂的多元醇预混合物组合物的作用。具体地,现在已经发现金属盐可以有利地用于稳定一种包含卤代氢烯烃发泡剂的多元醇预混合物B方面。发现这种稳定方法延长了该预混合物的保质期并且增强了通过将该多元醇预混合物组合物与一种多异氰酸酯组合获得的泡沫的泡沫特征。

本发明的某些实施例的详细说明
通过使用卤代烯烃例如氢氯氟烯烃1-氯-3,3,3-三氟丙烯(通常被称为HCFO-1233zd)来研究聚氨酯发泡。用于聚氨酯泡沫的共混物包括一种多元醇、一 种表面活性剂、一种胺催化剂、一种卤代烯烃发泡剂、以及一种金属盐。现在出人意料地发现在本发明中使用的该金属盐导致这些泡沫共混物随时间推移的改善的稳定性。此外,出人意料地发现这些得到的泡沫具有一种均匀的带有很少的或不带有泡沫坍塌的孔结构。

可以在包含多种胺催化剂的多元醇预混合物组合物中使用本发明的金属盐。传统的胺催化剂已经是叔胺,例如三亚乙基二胺(TEDA)、二甲基环己胺(DMCHA)、和二甲基乙醇胺(DMEA)。对于胺催化剂的选择总体上是基于它们是否推动胶凝反应或发泡反应。在该胶凝反应中,多官能的异氰酸酯与多元醇反应以形成聚氨酯。在该发泡反应中,该异氰酸酯与水反应以形成聚脲和二氧化碳。胺催化剂还可以推动异氰酸酯三聚反应。这些反应以不同的速度进行;这两个反应均速度取决于温度、催化剂水平、催化剂类型和多种其他的因素。然而,为了产生高品质的泡沫,竞争的胶凝反应和发泡反应的速度必须是适当平衡的。如果该发泡反应比该胶凝反应发生的更快,由该反应产生的气体可能在该聚合物足够强以容纳它之前膨胀并且可能发生内部分裂或泡沫坍塌。相比之下,如果该胶凝反应比该发泡反应发生的更快,这些泡沫孔将保持闭合,从而导致当它冷却时,该泡沫收缩。分子结构对该催化剂的强度和选择性给出了一些暗示。发泡催化剂总体上具有一个与叔氮相隔两个碳原子的醚键。强的凝胶催化剂可以包含烷基取代的氮,而更弱的凝胶催化剂可以包含环取代的氮。三聚催化剂可以包含该三嗪结构,或是季铵盐。还可以使用包含一个羟基基团或一个活性氨基氢的催化剂。
如上所述,催化剂起控制并且平衡该胶凝反应与发泡反应的作用。叔胺催化剂 具有它们自己的特异的催化特征例如胶凝、发泡、和交联活性。如由本领域具有普通技术的人员将会理解的,这些催化剂活性与所得的泡沫的发起特征曲线(rise profile)、发泡效率、可模制性、生产率、以及其他的特性具有强的关系。因此,本发明的多元醇预混合物组合物除了多种胺催化剂之外还包括金属盐以平衡该发泡反应、胶凝反应、以及三聚催化剂反应并且产生一种具有所希望的特性的泡沫。例如,本发明的多元醇预混合物组合物可以包含与一种或多种含氧胺催化剂组合的一种或多种金属盐。本发明的多元醇预混合物组合物可以替代地或额外地包括一种或多种非含氧的胺催化剂和/或非胺催化剂。
在本发明中可以使用的含氧胺催化剂包括含有醚和/或一个羟基基团的那些胺。例如,该含氧胺催化剂可以是一种醇胺、醚胺或一种含吗啉基团的催化剂例如一个N-烷基取代的吗啉。这种催化剂可以包含处于胺官能团形式的一个、两个、三个或更多个氮原子。在一个实施例中,存在于该催化剂分子中的所有的胺基团都是叔胺基团。在一个实施例中,这种催化剂可以包含两个、三个或更多个氧原子,这些氧原子能够以醚基团、羟基基团或醚基团和羟基基团二者的形式存在。适合的含氧胺催化剂包括对应于以下化学结构的化合物:

本发明的热固性泡沫共混物包括一种或多种能够形成具有总体上蜂窝状结构的泡沫,以及一种或多种发泡剂。热固性组合物的实例包括聚氨酯和聚异氰脲酸酯泡沫组合物,优选低密度泡沫,柔性的或刚性的。
本发明还涉及从热固性泡沫配制品中制备的泡沫,并且优选闭孔泡沫,已经在该配制品中加入了一个稳定量的酯。当使用一种酯时,形成和/或添加到可起泡的组合物中的本发明的发泡剂和酯的组合的顺序和方式总体上不会影响本发明的可操作性。例如,在聚氨酯泡沫的情况下,有可能该发泡剂和酯的组合的不同组分不在引入发泡设备之前混合,或者甚者这些组分不加入该发泡设备中的同一位置。因此,在某些实施例中,所希望的可以是以这样的一种方式引入该发泡剂和酯的组合的一种或多种组分即这些组分将一起进入该发泡设备。尽管如此,在某些实施例中,使该发泡剂和酯的组合的组分提前组合,并且一起引入该可起泡组合物中(直接地或作为一种预混合物的一部分),该预混合物然后进一步加入该可起泡组合物的其他部分。

该多元醇组分(可以包括多元醇混合物)可以是任何多元醇,该多元醇以一种已知的方式与一种异氰酸酯在制备一种聚氨酯或聚异氰脲酸酯泡沫过程中发生反应。示例性多元醇包括:基于甘油的聚醚型多元醇例如GP-700、GP-725、GP-4000、GP-4520;基于胺的聚醚型多元醇例如TEAP-265和EDAP-770、 AD-310;基于蔗糖的聚醚型多元醇例如SD-360、SG-361、和SD-522、 490、和SPA-357;基于曼尼希(Mannich)的聚醚型多元醇例如 R-425X和R-470X;基于山梨糖醇的聚醚型多元醇例如S-490;以及芳香族的聚酯型多元醇例如2541和3510、PS-2352、和TR-925。
该多元醇预混合物组合物还可以包含一种表面活性剂。将该表面活性剂用于从该混合物中形成一种泡沫以及用于控制该泡沫的泡的尺寸以便获得一种具有所希望的孔结构的泡沫。优选地,所希望的是一种其中带有均匀尺寸的小泡或单元的泡沫,因为它具有最希望的物理特性例如压缩强度和导热系数。此外,关键的是获得一种泡沫,该泡沫具有稳定的、起泡前或泡沫发起的过程中不会坍塌的单元。用于在聚氨酯或聚异氰脲酸酯泡沫制备中使用的有机硅表面活性剂是以多个本领域普通技术人员已知的商品名可获得的。已经发现这样的材料在大范围的配制品范围内是可应用的,这些配制品允许均匀的单元形成以及最大的气体截留以实现非常低密度的泡沫结构。

实例1

Claims (10)
1.一种多元醇预混合物组合物,该组合物包括一种包括卤代的氢烯烃的发泡剂、一种多元醇、一种具有化学式R-C(O)-O-R’的酯、一种表面活性剂、一种由非含氧的胺催化剂组成的催化剂组合物、以及一种金属盐,其中所述金属盐选自金属羧酸盐、乙酰丙酮化物以及醇化物,其中金属选自锌、钴、锡、铈、镧、铝、钒、锰、铜、镍、铁、钛、锆、铬、钪、钙、镁、锶、钡和铋,其中R和R’是CaHc-bGb,其中G是一种选自F、Cl、Br、I的卤素,a=0至15、b=0至31、并且c=1至31。
2.如权利要求1所述的多元醇预混合物组合物,其中,该发泡剂额外地包括一种或多种氢氟烷类(HFC)、氢氟醚类(HFE)、烃类、醇类、醛类、酮类、醚类/二醚类、或产生CO2的材料、或它们的组合。
