Description
本发明涉及轻垢型液体洗碟洗涤剂组合物,尤其涉及含有烷基多糖和α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂组合的上述组合物。上述组合物提供了良好的起泡和去污能力,并且对皮肤无刺激。
烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂已经在美国专利NO.3,598,865;3,721,633和3,772,269中公开,这些专利也公开了制备烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂的方法和所配制的含有这些表面活性剂的液体洗涤剂组合物。美国专利NO.3,219,656公开了烷基单葡糖苷,并提出将它们用作其它表面活性剂的泡沫稳定剂。各种聚葡糖苷表面活性剂的结构及其制备方法已被公开在美国专利NO.2,974,134;3,640,998;3,839,318;3,314,936;3,346,558;4,011,389和4,223,129中。
已经公开了在洗净组合物中烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂与某些辅助表面活性剂的组合。美国专利NO.4,396,520公开了含有烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂和钙灵敏的阴离子洗涤剂辅助表面活性剂的洗涤剂组合物。美国专利NO.4,565,647公开了含有烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂和硫酸盐、磺酸盐和/或羧酸盐辅助表面活性剂的发泡组合物。美国专利NO.4,599,188公开了含有烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂、硫酸盐、磺酸盐和/或羧酸盐辅助表面活性剂、和酰胺和/或氧化胺辅助发泡助促进剂的发泡组合物。美国专利NO.4,732,704公开了含有烷基单葡糖苷表面活性剂、硫酸盐或磺酸盐型的阴离子表面活性剂、和脂肪酸链烷醇酰胺的手工洗碟洗涤剂组合物。美国专利NO.4,839,098公开了含有烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂和二烷基磺基琥珀酸酯的手工洗碟洗涤剂组合物。
含有α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯的洗涤剂组合物在美国专利NO.3,338,838和4,438,025中公开。
除非另有说明,本文使用的所有百分数、份数和比率均按重量计。
本发明涉及在轻垢型液体洗碟洗涤剂组合物中能提供好的性能,即良好的发泡和去污能力的表面活性剂的特定组合的发现。尤其是,本发明涉及轻垢型液体洗碟洗涤剂组合物,它含有,按重量计:
(a)约10%至约50%,优选约15%至约40%,最优选约20%至约30%的下式的烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂:
其中R是平均为C10至C16,优选C12至C14的烷基,G是由还原含5至6个碳原子的糖类,优选葡萄糖单元衍生的部分,X平均为约1.0至约3.0,优选地为约1.1至约1.5;
(b)约2%至约45%,优选约4%至约30%,最优选约5%至约15%的下式的α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂:
其中R1是平均为C8至C16,优选C10至C14的烷基,R2是平均为C1至C6,优选C1至C2的烷基,M是阳离子,优选铵、钠、钾、镁,或它们的混合物;和
(c)约0%至约10%,优选约1%至约7%的辅助泡沫助促进剂,优选地选自烷基二甲基氧化胺、烷基酰氨基丙基甜菜碱、烷基二甲基甜菜碱、烷基二甲基磺基甜菜碱,烷基酰胺,和它们的混合物;
其中(a)/(b)重量比为约50/50至约95/5,优选约60/40至约90/10,最优选约70/30至约80/20。
本发明的优选实例涉及上述组合物,其中在组合物中制备α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活化剂的标准方法的α一磺化羧酸副产物的量按α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂的量计,低于约20%,优选地低于约10%。最关键的是在配方中(a)/(b)接近50/50。
我们惊奇地发现本发明烷基多糖和α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂的特定比率的组合提供了意料不到的性能,尤其是良好的发泡性能。这是尤其意料不到的,因为单独的α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂与其它阴离子表面活性剂,诸如在美国专利NO.4,565,647;4,599,188;和4,732,704中公开的硫酸盐、磺酸盐和羧酸盐表面活性剂相比效果较差。
烷基多糖表面活性剂
本发明的组合物含有约10%至约50%,优选约15%至约40%,最优选约20%至约30%的下式的烷基多糖表面活性剂:
其中R是平均为C10至C16,优选C12至C14的烷基;G是由还原含有5至6个碳原子的糖类,优选葡萄糖单元衍生的部分;X平均为约1.0至约3.0,优选约1.1至约1.5,并表示烷基多糖表面活性剂的平均聚合程度(D.P)。对于特定的烷基多糖分子,X只能取整数,在任何烷基多糖表面活性剂的实际试样中,它们通常是具有不同X值的分子。实际试样能够以X的平均值为其特征,它可以取非整数值。在本说明书中,X的值被理解为平均数值。
表面活性剂的多糖亲水部分含有平均约1至约3,优选1.1至约1.5个糖类单元,糖类单元可以是半乳糖苷、葡糖苷、乳糖苷、果糖苷、葡糖基、果糖基、乳糖基和/或半乳糖基单元。这些糖类部分的混合物可用于烷基多糖表面活性剂。葡糖苷是优选的糖类部分,其它糖类部分将相类似地作用,但由于葡糖苷是优选的糖类部分,下文将集中于烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂。
烷基多糖的疏水部分是平均含有约10至约16个碳原子的,或饱和或不饱和的,支链或非支链的烷基。优选的是,烷基部分主要是直链饱和的C12至C14烷基。
为制备优选的烷基聚葡糖苷化合物,长链醇(例如,含约10至约16个碳原子)可以与葡萄糖在酸催化剂存在下反应形成所需的葡糖苷。此外,烷基聚葡糖苷可以由两步法制备,其中,短链醇(例如,含有约1至约6个碳原子)与葡萄糖或聚葡糖(X=2至4)反应产生短链烷基葡糖苷(X=1至4)它可以接着与长链醇反应以取代短链醇,得到所需的烷基聚葡糖苷。如果采用这种两步法,最终的烷基聚葡糖苷物料的短链烷基葡糖苷含量应低于50%,优选的是低于10%,更优选地为低于5%。最优选的是,最终物料基本上不含有短链烷基聚葡糖苷。
在所需的烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂中未反应醇的量(游离脂肪醇含量)按烷基聚葡糖苷加上未反应的醇的总重量计优选地低于约2%,更优选地低于约0.5%。这最好是按照在1983年7月12日出版的Mao等人的美国专利NO.4,393,203(列为本文参考文献)中描述的薄膜蒸发器中从多糖产物中除去脂肪醇的方法来完成。烷基单葡糖苷的量按烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂的总重量计约30%至约80%,优选35%至75%,最优选40%至65%。
由于在烷基聚葡糖苷表面活性剂中可能存在某些未反应的醇,所需的烷基聚葡糖苷和醇的混合物的平均聚合程度(即,平均值X)可能下降至低于所要求的1.0的值,例如,可能低至约X=0.8。
烷基多糖可以经色谱技术,例如,超临界流体色谱法而有效地分析。用这种分析仪器,通过用BSTFA(N,O-双(三甲基甲硅烷基)三氟乙酰胺)衍生的烷基多糖类可以使我们测定平均烷基链长和聚合程度(D.P.)以及烷基和糖单元的分布。当使用由纯烷基多糖标准物(它们可以合成或买到,如从Calbiochem)计算的响应因子时,上述方法最为有效。
α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯
本发明的组合物还含有约2%至约45%,优选约4%至约30%,最优选约5%至约15%的下式的α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯:
其中R1是平均为C8至C16,优选C10至C14的烷基;R2是平均为C1至C6,优选C1至C2的烷基;M是阳离子,优选铵、钠、钾、镁或它们的混合物。
表面活性剂的疏水部分在α位置上具有磺酸盐基团,即,磺酸盐基团位于第一个碳原子上,并且疏水部分平均含约10至约18个碳原子。优选地是,该疏水部分的烷基部分是直链、饱和的C12至C16烃。
辅助表面活性剂被用一个阳离子部分或几个阳离子M中和以完成上式。优选的是,M选自铵、钠、钾、镁或它们的混合物。最优选的是,M是含镁的混合物。
制备α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂的标准方法的α一磺化羧酸副产物(二盐)的量按脂肪酸烷基酯加上羧酸的总重量计优选地为低于约20%,最优选地为低于约10%。α一磺化羧酸含量的降低改善了组合物的性能和配制能力。
用于本发明组合物的α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂可以通过如下步骤制备:长链脂肪酸烷基酯用SO3以烷基酯:SO3的摩尔比约1∶1.1至约1∶1.4在降膜式反应器中磺化。反应器温度在约120°F(49℃)和195°F(91℃)之间。继磺化过程之后进行的是蒸煮阶段,其间使混合物在约140~176°F(60~80℃)下在罐中反应约20至60分钟。
为降低二盐的形成,蒸煮后的酸混合物用相对于所使用的过量SO3至少约1摩尔当量的醇(优选乙醇在约140~176°F(60~80℃)进行酯基转移作用约15~30分钟。随后,物料用过氧化氢在约140~176°F(60~80℃)下漂白得到浅色,最后,将物料在尽可能低的温度下,即86~104°F(30~40℃)中和至约7的PH值。
Stepan's Alpha Step ML-40R是用于本发明组合物的合适的脂肪酸烷基酯,然而,Alpha Step ML-40R有气味和颜色,这对用于洗碟洗涤剂组合物来说可能是不可接受的。因而,高级不饱和脂肪酸烷基酯将用作上述方法的原料。例如,Procter & Gamble's CE 1270R脂肪酸甲酯可用作该方法的原料。
烷基多糖表面活性剂(a)与α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂(b)的比率对于在此所要求保护的发明是关键的。不同于其它阴离子表面活性剂,单独的α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂(SES)在轻垢型液体洗碟洗涤剂组合物中表现出较差的发泡性能。其它单独的硫酸盐或磺酸盐类型的表面活性剂与SES相比,给出较高水平的发泡性能。同样,单独的烷基多糖表面活性剂(APG)在轻垢型液体洗涤剂组合物中也表现出较差的发泡特性。可以预计,一种APG/阴离子(除SES以外)表面活性剂体系将提供在这些洗涤剂组合物中可接受的发泡和油脂切削性,因为阴离子表面活性剂的发泡性能将补偿APG的差的发泡性能。另一方面,可以预计,APG/SES表面活性剂体系基于表面活性剂的各自特性,将最小限度地提高洗涤剂组合物的性能属性。由两种分别显示差的发泡性能的表面活性剂(即,APG和SES)组成的表面活性剂体系不能被预计提供具有手工洗碟所需性能的洗涤剂组合物。
然而,令人惊奇的是,以APG/SES的比率为约50/50至95/5,优选为约60/40至90/10,最优选为约70/30至80/20的APG/SES表面活性剂混合物很好地提供了上述那些洗碟洗涤剂组合物可接受的性能属性。如果与下文描述的优选的泡沫助促进剂组合使用,APG/SES表面活性剂混合物能提供优良的泡沫哩程和去除油脂/油的能力。此外,洗涤剂组合物的两种所需组分均可以从极易生物降解的可再生的(非石油)原料得到。
辅助泡沫助促进剂
在本发明组合物中包含的另一个组分是辅助泡沫助促进剂,其含量为0%至约10%,优选约1%至约7%。可用于本发明组合物的可选择的泡沫稳定表面活性剂有三种基本类型:甜菜碱、氧化胺半极性非离子表面活性剂和脂肪酸酰胺。
本发明的组合物可以含有具有如下通式的甜菜碱洗涤剂表面活性剂:

其中,R是疏水基团,它选自含有约10至约22个碳原子,优选约12至约18个碳原子的烷基,含有类似数目碳原子的烷芳基和芳烷基,其苯环被看作相当于约2个碳原子,和被酰氨基或醚键间断的类似结构;每个R1是含有1至约3个碳原子的烷基;R2是含有1至约6个碳原子的亚烷基。
优选的甜菜碱的实例为十二烷基二甲基甜菜碱、十六烷基二甲基甜菜碱、十二烷基酰氨基丙基二甲基甜菜碱、十四烷基二甲基甜菜碱、十四烷基酰氨基丙基二甲基甜菜碱和十二烷基二甲基己酸铵。
其它合适的酰氨基烷基甜菜碱在美国专利NO.3,950,417;4,137,191;和4,375,421;及英国专利GB2,103,236中公开,所有上述专利均列为本文参考文献。
人们可以认识到,上述甜菜碱表面活性剂的烷基(和酰基)可以从天然的或合成的来源得到,例如,它们可以由天然存在的脂肪酸;由Ziegler或Oxo方法制备的烯烃或由石油分离出来的经或未经“裂解”的烯烃得到。
氧化胺半极性非离子表面活性剂包括具有下式的化合物及其混合物:

用于本发明的酰胺表面活性剂的实例包括含有约8至约18个碳原子的酰基部分的脂肪酸的氨、单乙醇和二乙醇酰胺,并且由以下通式表示:

用于本发明组合物的泡沫助促进剂可以含有上文所列的泡沫助促进剂的任何一种或其混合物。
本发明的组合物的优选的起泡特性是那些能给产品使用者提供在洗碟溶液中显示去污能力的性能。在洗碟过程中遇到的污物起泡沫抑制剂的作用,并且洗碟溶液表面存在或不存在泡沫可便利地指导产品的使用。阴离子表面活性剂和泡沫稳定非离子表面活性剂的混合物,尤其是甜菜碱和氧化胺非离子表面活性剂的混合物优选地被用于本发明的组合物中,这是由于它们的高起泡性和在食物污物存在下的泡沫稳定性及在污物存在下准确显示产品使用充分程度的能力。
最优选的泡沫助促进剂是烷基二甲基氧化胺、烷基酰氨基丙基甜菜碱、烷基二甲基甜菜碱、烷基二甲基磺基甜菜碱和它们的混合物。很少选脂族烷基酰胺,因为它们在本发明的组合物中给出较差的起泡特性。然而,酰胺和上述氧化胺及甜菜碱的混合物提供给组合物足够的起泡特性。

除本文上述的成分外,组合物可以含有其它常用的适用于液体洗碟组合物的成分。
任选的成分包括乙氧基化非离子表面活性剂类型的污水促进剂,它被公开在美国专利NO.4,316,824,Pancheri(1982年2月23日)中,在此列为本文的参考文献。
其它的附加成分包括洗涤助洗剂,可以是有机或无机类型的。水溶性无机助洗剂可以单独使用,或以其与无机助洗剂的混合物、或以其与有机碱多价螯合剂助洗剂盐的混合物使用,其实例包括碱金属的碳酸盐、磷酸盐、多磷酸盐和硅酸盐。这些盐的具体实例包括三聚磷酸钠、碳酸钠、碳酸钾、焦磷酸钠、焦磷酸钾、三聚磷酸钾和六偏磷酸钠。有机助洗剂盐可以单独使用,或以其相互的混合物或以其与前文的无机碱助洗剂盐的混合物使用,其实例包括碱金属多羧酸盐,例如水溶性柠檬酸盐,如柠檬酸钠和钾,酒石酸钠和钾,乙二胺四乙酸钠和钾,N-(2-羟基乙基)-乙二胺三乙酸钠和钾,次氮基三乙酸(NTA)钠和钾,N-(2-羟基乙基)-次氮基二乙酸钠和钾,氧化丁二酸氢钠或钾,酒石酸单-和二-琥珀酸钠和钾,这些实例被描述于美国专利NO.4,663,071(Bush等人;1987年5月5日出版)中,在此引入作为本文的参考文献。其它有机洗涤助洗剂,诸如水溶性膦酸盐,也可用于本发明的组合物。然而,通常在洗碟洗涤剂组合物中洗涤助洗剂有限定的含量,出于对溶解性和相稳定性的考虑,在本文液体洗涤剂组合物中,使用的含量高于约10%就会限制配方的适应性。
为了获得所需产品的相稳定性和粘度,可以使用醇,例如,乙醇和丙二醇、和水溶助长剂,例如甲苯磺酸钠和钾、二甲苯磺酸钠和钾、磺基琥珀酸三钠及有关的化合物(如美国专利NO.3,915,903中所公开的,列为本文参考文献),及尿素。醇,例如乙醇和丙二醇,以0%至约15%的含量、甲苯、二甲苯或异丙基苯磺酸钾或钠以0%至约10%的含量及尿素,以0%至约10%的含量分别用于本发明的组合物。
其它所需的成份包括稀释剂和溶剂。稀释剂可以是无机盐,例如,硫酸钠、氯化铵、氯化钠、碳酸氢钠等等,溶剂包括水、低分子量醇,例如乙醇、异丙醇等等。本发明组合物通常将含有高达约80%,优选约30%至约70%,最优选约40%至约65%的水。
如下实施例举例说明本发明,以有助于对本发明的理解。
实施例Ⅰ
本发明的如下四个组合物是根据下文描述的方法制备的。
配制配方A、B和C的方法包括:向α一磺酸钠C12-14烷基甲酯中加入乙醇和氯化钠,混合加入烷基多糖,并使混合物的温度上升至约104°F(40℃)。然后加入甜菜碱或氧化胺并混合。最后加入氯化镁并混合,随后调节粘度和PH值。最终加入香料和染料,以及平衡量的水。
配方D按类似的方法配制,只是将脂肪酸单乙醇胺酰胺在加入α一磺化烷基甲酯/烷基多糖混合物之前加热至约149°F(65℃)。

配方N1和N2提供了好的泡沫体积和泡沫哩程。全部由APG配制的配方N3具有相似的泡沫体积但没有足够的泡沫哩程。换句话说,配方N1和N2提供的起泡特性在其受污物样品作用时比配方N3提供的起泡特性持续时间长。
实施例Ⅲ
如下配方在稀释溶液中配制。在假定轻垢型液体洗碟洗涤剂组合物通常稀释至0.067%的前提下,在本发明的轻垢型液体洗碟洗涤剂组合物中每个组分的相应的重量百分数表示于括号内。

配方2和3提供了优于配方1、4和5的起泡特性。
实施例Ⅳ
实施例Ⅲ的配方1-5可以添加辅助泡沫助促进剂。向每个配方的稀释溶液中加入20PPm(在洗碟洗涤剂组合物中为3wt%)如下的泡沫助促进剂:
(a)C12-14-16烷基二甲基氧化胺;
(b)C12-14烷基酰基酰氨基丙基甜菜碱;
(c)C12-14脂肪酸单乙醇胺酰胺。
含有氧化胺或甜菜碱泡沫助促进剂的配方提供了优于含有酰胺泡沫助促进剂的配方的发泡和泡沫性能。含有辅助泡沫助促进剂的配方1-5提供了发泡和泡沫特性范围,其排列顺序为配方2>配方3>配方4》配方1和5。
实施例Ⅴ
含有制备α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂的标准方法的α一磺化羧酸副产物的组合物表示如下:

Claims (20)
1、一种轻垢型液体洗碟洗涤剂组合物,它包括按重量计:
约10%至约50%的下式的烷基多糖表面活性剂:
R-O-Gx
其中R是平均为C10至C16烷基,G是由还原含有5至6个碳原子的糖类得到的部分,X平均为约1.0至约3.0,其特征在于:
(a)约2%至约45%的下式的α-磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂:
其中R1是平均为C8至C16的烷基,R2是平均为C1至C6的烷基,M是阳离子;和
(b)0%至约10%的辅助泡沫助促进剂;
其中(a)/(b)的重量比为约50/50至约95/5。
2、权利要求1的组合物,其中R是平均为C12至C14的烷基,G是葡萄糖单元,X平均为约1.1至约1.5。
3、权利要求1的组合物,其中包括约15%至约40%的烷基多糖表面活性剂。
4、权利要求2的组合物,其中包括约20%至约30%的烷基多糖表面活性剂。
5、权利要求1的组合物,其中R1是平均为C10至C14的烷基,R2是平均为C1至C2的烷基,M选自铵、钠、钾、镁及其混合物。
6、权利要求1的组合物,其中含有约4%至约30%的α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂。
7、权利要求5的组合物,其中含有约5%至约15%的α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂。
8、权利要求7的组合物,其中组合物中α一磺化羧酸的量低于α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯量的约20%(重量)。
9、权利要求1的组合物,其中R是平均为C12至C14的烷基,G是葡萄糖单元。X平均为约1.1至约1.5,R1是平均为C10至C14的烷基,R2是平均为C1至C2的烷基,M选自铵、钠、钾、镁和它们的混合物。
10、权利要求1的组合物,其中包括约20%至约30%的烷基多糖表面活性剂和约5%至约15%的α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂。
11、权利要求9的组合物,其中包括约20%至约30%的烷基多糖表面活性剂和约5%至约15%的α一磺化脂肪酸烷基酯表面活性剂。
12、权利要求1的组合物,其中(a)/(b)比率为约60/40至约90/10。
13、权利要求10的组合物,其中(a)/(b)比率为约70/30至约80/20。
14、权利要求12的组合物,其中(a)/(b)比率为约70/30至约80/20。
15、权利要求1的组合物,其中辅助泡沫助促进剂选自烷基二甲基氧化胺、烷基酰氨基丙基甜菜碱、烷基二甲基甜菜碱、烷基二甲基磺基甜菜碱、烷基酰胺和它们的混合物。
16、权利要求15的组合物,其中辅助泡沫助促进剂选自烷基二甲基氧化胺、烷基酰氨基丙基甜菜碱、烷基二甲基甜菜碱和它们的混合物。
17、权利要求1的组合物,其中含有约1%至约7%的辅助泡沫助促进剂。
18、权利要求11的组合物,其中含有约1%至约7%的辅助泡沫助促进剂。
19、权利要求13的组合物,其中含有约1%至约7%的辅助泡沫助促进剂。
20、权利要求16的组合物,其中含有约1%至约7%的辅助泡沫助促进剂。
