THE PROCESS INCLUDES MIXING POTASSIUM CHLORIDE WITH WATER TO FORM A SUSPENSION THAT MIXES WITH THE RECYCLED SULFURIC ACID TO FORM A K + ACID MIX, CL-, SO4 2-. THIS MIXTURE IS SUBMITTED TO A CRYSTALLIZATION PROCESS THAT PRODUCES POTASSIUM SULFIDE CRYSTALS AND WATER VAPOR-CHLORIDE ACID. THE CHLORIDE ACID SEPARATES TO FORM A CHLORIDE ACID SOLUTION.
