Abstract
La presente invención se refiere al uso de la hemoglobina extracelular aislada de purificada de un anélido nativo de Chile, preferentemente del género Abarenicola y mas preferentemente de las especies Abarenicola pusilla o Abarenicola affinis, para preparar un medicamento útil como sustituto sanguíneo para tratar, a la vez, la anemia aguila por pérdida de sangre y la infección bacteriana en mamíferos, [a presente invención se refiere también a una composición farmacéutica para el tratamiento la anemia aguda por pérdida de sangre y la infección bacteriana en mamíferos, que comprende una concentración efectiva de una hemoglobina extracelular aislada proveniente de un anélido nativo de Chile, preferentemente del género Abarenicola y más preferentemente de las especies Abarenicola pusilla o Abarenicola affinis, y un excipiente farmacéuticamente aceptable.
