Abstract

An electronic timepiece has a liquid display device consisting of a first liquid crystal display section (19) (Figs 4a,2) for displaying a time indication and a second liquid crystal display section (20) for displaying other information and, in particular, a calendar indication as in Fig 3. The display sections are selectively and alternatively energised and are superposed, the display section (20) being viewed through the display section (19). Selected dates can be memorized and the display caused to flicker on the memorized date. A time unit being corrected is also caused to flicker. <IMAGE>
