Abstract

An alpha , omega -dihydropolydimethylsiloxane of molecular mass of approximately 1000-2000 is polymerised with a compound containing a polyaromatic linear chain terminated by a vinyldimethylsilylmethoxy group at each end. The thermoplastic elastomers thus obtained are usable for the manufacture of articles formed by extrusion or injection in the molten state, and of films by evaporation of their toluene solutions.
