Abstract

The boot comprises two rigid lateral parts (1, 2) separated at the rear by a notch (3) emerging upwards. A bearing element (5) is fastened so as to straddle over this notch (3) and its fastening is adjustable in terms of height with the aid of extensions (10) which may be housed in any one of the orifices (14 to 19) which are provided on the rear edges (12, 13) of the lateral parts. In this manner, the rear upper part of the boot may be adapted to the shape of the skier's ankle and leg. <IMAGE>
