Abstract

Seed drill for field use has a rear mounted pressure roller which is carried on the drill frame for adjustment both horizontally and vertically individually. Preferably the roller is mounted in a frame which is itself pivoted off the main drill frame, with means provided to slew the roller horizontally. The roller frame should consist of arms resiliently supported on the drill frame by means of springs which can be adjusted by threaded spindles and nuts travelling on these for adjustment purposes.
