Abstract
The new cpds are of formula (I) in which R1 and R2 are H, 1-4C alkyl or allyl, X1 is H, Cl or CF3 and X2 is Cl when X1 is H or H when X1 is Cl or CF3, together with their addition salts with mineral or organic acids. - They have CNS depressant adrenolytic and antihistamic activity. - They are prepd by reaction of corresp. 10,11-bis-bromomethyl -5H-dibenzo b,f azepines (II) with an amine R2NH2 by reduction of cpds of formula (I) in which R1 is replaced by a 1-4C acyl gp (III), by alkylation of cpds of formula (I) with a (R1=H) and by hydrolysis of cpds of formula (I) in which R2 is replaced by acyl (II) and (III) are also now cpds.
