Description

Fig. 3 einen Schnitt nach Linie A-B in Fig. 2.

Clamping device for parts to be clamped against each other
The invention relates to a clamping device for parts to be clamped against one another.

Pallets provided with clip-on frames form so-called containers or combitainers, in which a clip-on frame protrudes on each side of the pallet. Since such frames are only attached to the pallet with their foot ends, they have to be locked against one another by means of tensioning elements, depending on the container filling, to prevent sideways movement outwards. The length of the tendons must be adjustable, since the distance between the clip-on frames is in most cases adjustable on the pallet. If the container filling occupies a smaller base area than the pallet size, the clip-on frames on the pallet are shifted against each other in order to avoid excessive packing air.

Telescopic rods are sometimes used as tendons, which are secured in the respective extension length through the transverse bores.

In the main, however, the easier-to-use and much cheaper flat rubber bands are used, which are hooked into the side pins of the clip-on frames or by means of hooks. The elasticity of the rubber allows the band to adjust itself to the corresponding frame distance.

The disadvantage here, however, is that the tensioning force of the belt is different depending on the belt stretch.

Overstretching leads to ligament tears and ultimately to destruction. This is particularly the case when filled sacks are loaded, which exert a strong outward pressure on the clip-on frame. In addition, the evasive movement caused by this cannot be intercepted by elastic elastic straps. If containers are placed next to one another and shipped, the outwardly inclining clip-on frames hook into those of the neighboring container, so that it is very difficult to move the containers later during the unloading process. On the other hand, the necessary tensioning effect is lost if the belt is not stretched enough.

The task at hand is therefore to create a possibility for the use of rigid tensioning straps that can be adjusted in terms of their effective length.

This would be possible using buckles which are fastened to one end of the strap in a manner similar to belts and in which the other free end of the strap is secured in any position. Such a buckle safety device is unsuitable for the intended purpose, however, since the buckles are unprotected and loosen during transport. The locking would also be too cumbersome and quick opening for the purpose of unloading the container would not be possible. Hole buckles would also be unsuitable due to excessive wear.

The object is achieved according to the invention by a three-legged tensioning fork open on one side for receiving a flat, inflexible tensioning strap, which is rigidly fastened to a part serving as a counter-tensioning bearing with one of the outer legs or the lower yoke extending at right angles to these
In the case of pallet clip-on frames, clamping forks with an opening directed towards the upper frame arch can be welded to the inside of the two frame spars of the opposing clip-on frames, whereby the opposing clamping forks on each frame are advantageously aligned in the plane of the frame. In this way, the clamping forks are protected against bending or breaking if the clip-on frames are removed after the container has been emptied and placed on top of one another on the pallet.

The tensioning fork enables quick adjustment of the rigid tensioning strap.

In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown using the example of a clip-on frame for pallets. For the sake of simplicity, the clip-on frame is shown in the cutout. Show it:
Fig. 1 the left upper part of a clip-on frame with a clamping fork,
FIG. 2 shows the illustration according to FIG. 1 with the tensioning band inserted,
3 shows a section along line A-B in FIG.

The clamping fork 2 formed from the three legs 3, 4, 5 and the fork yoke 6 is welded to the side leg 5 on the inside of the clip-on frame 1. The opening of the clamping fork 2 lying in the frame plane is directed towards the upper arch of the frame 1. As can be seen from FIGS. 2 and 3, the tension band 7 arriving from the opposite clip-on frame is after wrapping around the frame member 1 through the opening between the legs 4 and 5, around the leg 3, between this and the central leg 4 through and behind the latter led through to the outside.

As a result of the belt tension, a secure frictional connection is created between the belt surfaces lying opposite one another behind the center leg 4. If the tension is to be released, the free end of the tensioning strap 7 is pulled upward out of the tensioning fork 2, so that the frictional connection is released.
