Description

Foldable packaging -for -packaging, storage, -expositIon and transport of goods
The present invention relates to packaging for packaging, storage, display and transport of goods.

The essential characteristic of the packaging object of the present invention lies in the fact that it is made from a sheet in which its shapes are determined by stamping and which is divided into two parts enhanced by a central folding line. , these two parts being symmetrical with respect to said central folding line which serves as a hinge, an opening in the same direction being made in said line, said two symmetrical portions being themselves subdivided into two other portions having windows in their surface separated from each other by strips of the material of the base sheet, one of the articles to be transported corresponding to each of these windows,

the window separation bands serving by their ends as fold lines determining the demarcation and retention planes of the articles placed in said windows.

The appended drawing represents, by way of example, an embodiment of the packaging which is the subject of the present invention.

Fig. 1 shows a plan view of the foil constituting the packaging, showing its particular configuration by punching (stamping).

Fig. 2 shows a detail of the beginning of the folding of the sheet of FIG. 1 to obtain the packaging that is established with it.

Fig. 3 shows the folding at its last phase and FIG. 4 shows the same phase of the folding but with the assembly reversed with respect to FIG. 3.

Fig. 5 shows a perspective view of the package folded and ready to be carried in the hand.

Fig. 6 shows one of the positions that the packaging can take to be used as a display for the objects or products it carries.

Fig. 7 shows a form of stacking of several of these packages to facilitate their packaging or for their storage or display.

As can be seen from said figures, the recommended packaging is characterized in that it is made from a sheet. in which, by stamping, its particular shapes are determined. I1 must mark in this sheet a central line of folds 1 with an opening 2 in the same direction, said line dividing the basic part of the packaging. in two equal and symmetrical parts with respect to said line. Each of these two symmetrical parts is in turn subdivided into two rectangular portions 3 and 4.

In the surface of the portion 3 are formed windows 5 separated from each other by strips 6 of the material itself, each of these windows determining the corresponding space for each of the objects to be worn, the sides of the windows contiguous to these strips being slightly curvilinear or rectangular as needed or convenient. The portions 4 form at their end a handle 7 which forms in its hollow an arch 8 which, when the assembly is folded, has the role of damping the action of weight on the hand of the person carrying the packaging. In addition, said handles have at their starting points lateral appendages 9 which project parallel to the side from which the handle extends, which makes it possible to ensure the interlocking of said handles when the assembly is folded and the inviolability of the latter.

For the folding of this packaging, the hinge line 1 of the two symmetrical parts which compose it and the ends of the strips 6 closest to each other are folded, forming a central ridge as shown in FIG. 2. In this position, the objects to be worn are placed on the hollows of the windows 5, and then the other end of the bands 6 as well as the portion 4 are folded thanks to the fold line which separates it from the portion 3, this portion 4 being parallel to windows 5.

Then, the handles 7 are passed through the groove 2 of the folding league or main hinge 1, the assembly being as shown in FIG. 3, and, by turning over this enseruble (fig 4), the portions or planes 4 from which the handles 7 start are folded down until these portions are back to back, leaving said handles 7 free on the upper plane of the together as can be seen in fig. 5, these handles cannot move back without forcing and deforming their lateral appendages 9.

To place the assembly in the display position or to facilitate its stacking, said assembly may, in addition to the position shown in FIG. 5, be placed as shown in fig. 4, 6 and 7.

For the transport of bottles or flasks, perforations (not shown) are provided in one of the portions or parts of the base sheet in order to allow the passage of the necks or necks, these perforations being made in a crossed position to facilitate coupling and folding of the assembly.

The above discussion shows that the foldable packaging described is used for multiple applications, and is made from a single sheet tunic without it being necessary to use any glue, tabs, hooks, incisions or seams. On the other hand, - as the objects carried in this packaging remain partially visible, it is unnecessary to carry out any labeling or printing on said packaging since the nature of the articles transported is visible.
