La presente invenzione ha per oggetto una poltrona t:rasformabile tanto in sedia a sdraio quanto in letto, la. quale è caratte rizzata da. una struttura, a due lati opposti della quale sono incernierati telai dello schi.enale e del seggio della poltrona, in modo che detti telai possano disporsi in allinea mento con la struttura, ed il telaio dello schienale possa inoltre assumere anche di verse inclinazioni rispetto celle altre due parti allineate, detti telai essendo collegati fra loro da almeno un'asta di cui un estremo è incernierato ad un prolungamento del telaio costituente lo schienale e l'altro estremo ter mina con mezzi di arresto cooperanti con mezzi di arresto previsti nul telaio del seggio, in guisa che, ribaltando quest'ultimo, si porti 1o schienale nella posizione orizzontale, in cui si trova in allineamento con le altre due parti. Il disegno annesso rappresenta, a titolo di esempio, una forma di esecuzione dell'oggetto dell'invenzione.

Col ribaltamento del tela.io B viene pure abbas sato 10 schienale C, cosicchè le parti assu mono la posizione rappresentata nella fig. 3. Per fare assumere allo schienale una posi zione inclinata C' (védi punteggiata in fig. 3) in cui la poltrona serve da sedia a sdraio, basta agire su questo nel senso di sollevarlo. Allora la, caviglia 19 possono impegnarsi nelle tacche 18 in seguito alle posizioni assunte dalle caviglie per effetto del riba.ltamento del telaio B. Per portare il mobile alla posizione ini ziale in cui serve da poltrona si solleva com pletamente lo schienale e si ribalta, in su il telaio B. La struttura. della poltrona puô essere realizzata. in metallo tubolare, o in legno
