Description
Aperture for double lenses for taking stereoscopic images. When recording stereoscopic Bil on perforated film, especially narrow film, very short focal length lenses are known to be used. Due to the small width of the film, the lenses are arranged very close to one another. The installation of an iris diaphragm in such lenses causes difficulties as a result. So far, attempts have been made to remedy these difficulties by making the diaphragm from two disks which can be rotated in opposite directions and are provided with openings and which simultaneously influence the beam paths of both lenses.
According to the invention, two slides which can be adjusted in opposite directions and are provided with openings are used, the common drive of which is brought about by a pin coupling. The openings provided in the slides are advantageously formed by hexagonal cutouts.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment.
1 and 2 show the drive and the shape of the diaphragm in a position in which it has the largest openings, and FIGS. 3 and 4 show a diaphragm position with the smallest openings.
The slides 1 and 2, which move in opposite directions, are provided with hexagonal openings 3, 4, 5 and 6. The two slides are driven jointly by means of a pin coupling. The same consists of a drive pulley 7 with two pins 3 and 9, which respectively in a guide slot 10. 11 of the slide 1 and 2 engage and the same back and forth during the rotation of the disc 7 due to the eccentric arrangement of the pins, respectively. moving up and down. The slide 1 is
connected by pins 12 and 13 to the slide 2, the slide 1 through longitudinal slots 7.4, 15 ge compared to the slide 2 is guided. The lenses stored in a mount are indicated by 16 and 17.
When using two lenses, it is necessary to avoid the errors known per se that the masking takes place centrally to the two optical axes and, if possible, with the formation of similar union, concentric to the optical axes, which in the illustrated embodiment .the case is.
