Description
Gefäss mit Fussrandverstärkung. Bei Gefässen für verschiedene Zwecke suchte man bisher den Fussrand zu verstär ken durch einen fest über den Fussrand auf geschobenen Eisenreifen, dessen Aufgabe es ist, den Boden und die Unterkante des Ge fässes gegen Stösse und ähnliche Einflüsse zu schützen und zu verhindern, dass der Gefäss boden . @en Fussboden berührt. Diese Aus führung hat den Mangel, dass der Bodenreif geneigt ist, sich während des Gebrauches zu lösen. Dazu kommt, dass der Reif genietet oder geschweisst werden muss, damit er einen geschlossenen Ring bildet.

Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Gefäss mit Fussrandverstärkung, das obige Nachteile nicht aufweist. Sie ist ge kennzeichnet dadurch, dass um den Bodenfalz des Gefässes ein Verstärkungsstreifen aus Me tall derart aufgewalzt ist, dass er mit einem Teil um den Bodenfalz nach innen umgerollt diesen vollständig einfasst, und mit einem andern Teil dicht an die äussere Gefässwand herangepresst ist.
In der ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Er findungsgegenstandes bruchstückweise dar stellenden Zeichnung ist 1 die Seitenwand eines Gefässes, welche mit dem Bodenstück 2 gefalzt ist. LTm den Bodenfalz 3 ist ein Verstärkungsstreifen 4 aus Metall derart auf gewalzt, dass er mit dem Teil a um den Falz 3 umgerollt ist und diesen vollständig ein fasst, und mit dem Teil b dicht an die A ussen- fläche der Seitenwand 1 herangepresst ist.
Dieser Verstärkungsstreifen 4 schützt den Fussrand mit dem Falz 3 und verleiht ihm eine ausserordentlich hohe Widerstandskraft. Dabei ist durch die Form der Aufwalzung des Verstärkungsstreifens 4 ausgeschlossen, dass sich derselbe vom Gefässe während des Gebrauches löst.
Es ist klar, dass das erfindungsgemässe Gefäss mit Fussrandverstärkung runden, ovalen und rechteckigen Querschnitt haben kann, ebenso kann das Gefäss aus Metall oder andern Stoffen sein.
