Description
Process for the production of a solid fuel. The invention relates to a method for producing a solid fuel and a solid fuel produced by the method. A number of processes are already known in which hydrocarbon oils are used as additives for pulverized coal briquettes. In the present process, waste oils of any kind that are no longer used for other purposes are recycled, and whoever uses the paper and cardboard waste of all kinds as fillers for the fuel.
It has surprisingly been found that briquettes made exclusively from paper or cardboard waste and waste oils have a calorific value more than one and a half times that of pulverized coal briquettes.
The raw materials mentioned for the fuel according to the invention are otherwise worthless waste materials, so that an extremely cheap fuel is created which also has other great advantages than it can be produced domestically in any quantity and thereby reduces dependence on foreign countries . For mountain areas there is another great advantage through the saving of firewood, which can be used for more important purposes. Waste oils of any kind, such as used engine, transmission, differential and used regenerated oils (regenerated oils) can be used.
The fuel according to the invention can be produced in such a way that waste paper and cardboard waste are cut up as finely as possible in a shredding machine and this mass is mixed with the waste oil in a heatable kettle equipped with a stirrer.
The 01 is heated to over <B> 80 '</B> for about 1 hour in order to completely penetrate the paper or cardboard. The pale oil is separated from the excess oil by sieving and can then be pressed into larger plates on a roller press or briquetted on a briquetting machine. The separated excess oil is returned to the process.
