Rückwand an einem Sitz- oder liegemöbel. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Rückwand an einem Sitz- oder Liege möbel, welche wegnehmbar angeordnet ist. Das Sitz- oder Liegemöbel kann ein Bett diwan, ein Couch, eine Chaiselongue etc. sein.
Erfindungsgemäss ist die Rückwand da durch gekennzeichnet, dass dieselbe durch eine gepolsterte Hülle gebildet ist, welche um ihre Längsmitte zusammengefaltet ist und mit letzterer die obere Kante der Rückwand bildet, und dass die Rückwand unten und seitlich mit Schliessmitteln versehen ist, das Ganze derart, dass die Hülle einerseits im zu sammengefalteten Zustand als Hohlraum zum Unterbringen von Bettzeug, anderseits im auseinandergefalteten Zustand als Ma tratze des betreffenden Sitz- oder Liege möbels verwendbar ist.
In der beiliegenden Zeichnung ist der Er findungsgegenstand in einem Ausführungs beispiel dargestellt.
In Fig. <B>1</B> und 2 ist die Rückwand ersicht lich, wie sie als Rückenlehne eines Couch verwendet wird; In Fig. <B>3</B> und 4 ist die Rückwand in ihrer Verwendung als Matratze zum betref fenden Couch dargestellt;<B>-</B> In Fig. <B>5</B> ist die Rückwand separat als Matratze, in Fig. <B>6</B> und<B>7</B> als Rückenlehne herausgezeichnet.
Der Couch ist mit a bezeichnet. An einem Längsende ist eine gepolsterte Armlehne<B>b</B> aufgelegt.
Die Rückwand c ist auf dem Couell lose aufgelegt. Sie weist eine mit Kapok, Haar, Wolle, Bettfedern oder dergleichen gepol sterte Hülle<B>d</B> auf<B>,</B> die an den untern und den seitlichen Flächen mit einem Reissver- schluss e verschlossen ist. Sie enthält in ihrem Innern Bettwäsche, wie Bettücher, Woll decke, Steppdecke, Federzeug etc., welche jedoch in diesem verschlossenen Zustande der Rückwand nicht sichtbar ist. Aus der Zeich nung ist ersichtlich, dass die gefüllte Rück wand unten breiter ist als oben.
Zufolge die ser Formgebung hat die Rückwand ein ge fälliges Auss ehen, ergibt eine bequeme, weiche Rückenlehne und ihr Anblick unter- scheidet sich kaum von demjenigen einer Sofalehne bekannter Art. Dies umsomehr, als die Aussenseite der Hülle mit einem Über- zugstoff gleicher Art und von gleichem Des sin wie derjenige des Couch überzogen ist. Die Innenseite der Hülle ist mit einem prak tischen Stoff wie Matratzendrill überzogen.
<B>.</B> Soll nun die Rückwand c als Matratze verwendet werden, so wird der Reissver- schluss e geöffnet und die Hülle um die obere Längskante auseinander gefaltet und auf den Couch gelegt, Drillseite nach oben. Die Bettwäsche, welche in der Rückwand einge schlossen war, wird als solche zum Fertig- machen des Bettes benutzt.
Fig. <B>3</B> und 4 stellen den auf diese Weise in ein Bett verwandelten Couell dar. Die ge polsterte Hülle<B>d</B> ist also zur Obermatratze geworden. Die Armlehne<B>b</B> ist unter die Kopfseite der Obermatratze geschoben und ersetzt den sonst üblichen Bettkeil in prak tischer Art.
Aus der Fig. <B>5</B> ist die Herstellungsweise der Rückwand näher ersichtlich. Die gepol sterte Hülle<B>d</B> ist hier als gesteppt darge stellt. Sie könnte selbst-verständlich auch ge- beftet sein anstatt gesteppt. An der einen Längsseite der Hülle<B>d</B> und an den beiden Querseiten sind als Sehliessmittel Stoffstücke <B><I>f, g,</I></B><I> h</I> aus starkem Tuch angenäht, welche den Hohlraum der Rückwand seitlich und unten zu schliessen bestimint sind.
Zum Schliessen der Rückwand sind die freien Rän der der Stoffstücke<B><I>f, g,</I></B><I> h</I> sowie der nicht mit einem Stoffstück versehene Rand der Hülle mit einem Reissverschluss e als Schliess organ versehen. An dessen Stelle könnten auch Haften i, Druel-,knöpfe oder dergleichen als Schliessorgane vorhanden sein, die in glei chen Abständen voneinander angeordnet sein können.
Die Keilform der Rückwand wird durch die Form der Stoffstücke<B>f</B> und<B>k</B> erreicht. Anstatt auf drei Seiten, wie in Fig. <B>5</B> dargestellt, könnten auch nur die beiden seitlichen Ränder mit Stoffstücken als Schliessmittel versehen sein, wobei die Schliessorgane zweckmässigerweise aus einem oder mehreren Schnürverschlüssen bestehen.
In Fig. <B>6</B> und<B>7</B> ist die Rückwand noch mals in zusammengefaltetem Zustand darge stellt-.
Auf der Fussseite der Matratze könnte au± der Oberseite ein sogenannter Fusssack, angenäht werden, wenn dies wünschenswert ist.

The rear wall c is loosely placed on the Couell. It has a cover <B> d </B> padded with kapok, hair, wool, bed feathers or the like, which is closed on the lower and lateral surfaces with a zipper e. Inside it contains bed linen, such as sheets, wool blankets, quilts, feather stuff, etc., which, however, are not visible in this locked state of the rear wall. The drawing shows that the filled rear wall is wider at the bottom than at the top.
As a result of this shape, the back wall has a pleasing appearance, results in a comfortable, soft backrest and its appearance hardly differs from that of a known type of armrest. This is all the more so than the outside of the cover with a cover material of the same type and type of the same design as that of the couch is covered. The production method of the rear wall can be seen in greater detail in FIG. 5. The padded cover <B> d </B> is shown here as quilted. It could of course also be padded instead of quilted. On one long side of the casing <B> d </B> and on the two transverse sides, pieces of fabric <B> <I> f, g, </I> </B> <I> h </I> are made as sealing means sewn on strong cloth, which are intended to close the cavity of the rear wall on the sides and below.
To close the back wall, the free edges of the pieces of fabric <B> <I> f, g, </I> </B> <I> h </I> and the edge of the cover that is not provided with a piece of fabric are zipped e provided as a locking device. In its place, clips, pushbuttons, buttons or the like could also be present as closing elements, which can be arranged at equal distances from one another.
The wedge shape of the back wall is achieved by the shape of the pieces of fabric <B> f </B> and <B> k </B>. Instead of being provided on three sides, as shown in FIG. 5, only the two side edges could be provided with pieces of fabric as closing means, the closing elements expediently consisting of one or more lace fasteners.
In Fig. 6 and 7, the rear wall is shown again in the folded state.
A so-called footmuff could be sewn onto the top of the foot side of the mattress if this is desirable.
