Description
Procédé de purification de l'acide phosphorique. La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de purification de l'acide phosphorique, lequel peut être exécuté par exemple comme suit On concentre l'acide impur jusqu'à une densité d'au moins 1,70, puis on l'additionne du double de son volume d'alcool.
Les impuretés contenues dans l'acide pré cipitent et l'on sépare la solution claire, par exemple par filtration.
On distille l'alcool contenu dans la so lution sous pression de 20 mm de mercure, la température de la solution ne devant pas dépasser 50 0.
Après avoir distillé le 90 % de l'alcool, on ajoute un volume d'eau égal au dixième du volume restant et l'on continue la distil- lation dans le vide, à une température ne dépassant pas 500, jusqu'à ce que la totalité de l'alcool et de l'eau ait disparu.
L'acide produit est traité par du charbon décolorant et filtré.
Claims (1)
- REVENDICATION Procédé de purification de l'acide phos phorique, selon lequel on traite une solution aqueuse, concentrée, de l'acide impur, d'une densité d'au moins 1,70, par deux fois son volume d'alcool, on sépare les impuretés qui se sont précipitées, puis on soumet le liquide à une distillation sous une pression telle que la température ne dépasse pas 50 0, de façon à éliminer l'alcool, et on traite par du char bon actif l'acide obtenu.
