Description
Container for receiving living plants.
The subject of the present invention is a vessel for holding living plants and the purpose of this vessel is to permanently moisten the plants.
According to the invention, this vessel has an outer jacket and an inner jacket, with the first jacket forming an intermediate space with a perforated side wall, the whole thing in such a way that water from the space between the two jackets gets into the space enclosed by the inner jacket and soil introduced into this space can fuel.
The drawing illustrates two exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention.
Fig. 1 is a plan and Fig. 2 is a vertical section along the line A-B in Fig. 1 of a first example; Fig. 3 is a vertical section of a second example.
1 (Fig. 1 and 2) denotes an outer, frustoconical sheet metal jacket with a centrally perforated bottom 11 and 2 an inner, also frustoconical sheet metal jacket with flange 3 on the upper edge, which flange is connected to the upper edge of the outer sheet metal jacket 1 . At some distance from the upper edge and from the bottom 21, the inner sheet metal jacket 2 has a horizontal ring of small holes 4 each, and a central group of holes 5 in the bottom 21.
Between the two floors 11 and 21 there is a space between the two, which is bridged by a central connector 6 which encompasses the holes 5 and adjoins the edge of the central hole in the floor 11, so that the space in between with the central hole of the Bo dens 11 and with the holes 5 in the bottom 21 is not in connection. In the flange 3 there is a filler opening 8 which can be closed with a screw cap 7 and a discharge opening 9 which can be closed with a threaded cover is at the bottom in the sheet metal jacket 1.
This planting device works as follows:
The space between the two metal shells is filled with water or a fluffy plant fertilizer after the lower opening 9 has been closed. The water penetrates through the small holes 4 respectively. the fertilizer in small quantities into the soil contained in the device and moisturizes it for a long time, so that the plants require significantly less care. The earth also constantly draws moisture from the space in between. Excess water drains through the holes 5 into a saucer, etc.
In the ceramic mass, for. B. ge burnt clay, executed example according to FIG. 3, the vessel consists of two independent jackets 10 and 20, of which the inner 20 is detachably inserted in the outer. The inner jacket 20 can be divided by at least one wall.
