Description
lIaar detergent. It is known to use solutions of dilute acids for rinsing the washed hair to achieve a heightened shine of the hair after washing the head. It is also known that solutions of acid salts can be used instead of these acids. For example, alum is used for this purpose in hairdressing circles.
It has now been found that by combining two or more acidic salts, the acidic effect of the same can be significantly increased, to the extent that the solutions of the same dilute acids such as citric acid, tartaric acid, etc. are roughly equal in the order of magnitude of the hydrogen ion concentration. The present invention relates to a hair rinsing agent which is characterized in that it consists of an aqueous solution which contains at least two acidic salts, which have an increased acidic effect, in dissolved form. The solutions according to the invention can also contain organic acids such as citric acid, tartaric acid, etc.
Suitable solutions according to the invention have been identified. A) A solution of 50 parts of alum and 50 parts of tartar, B) a solution of 60 parts of alum, 30 parts of tartar and 10 parts of citric acid. The preparations are intended to treat animal and human hair for the purpose of restoring elasticity and shine after washing. In the case of human hair in particular, it is important to neutralize the alkaline residues that have got into the hair through washing, permanent waving or the like, and thus restore the hair's elasticity and shine.
