  Verfahren zur Darstellung von     4-(Ogyäthyl)-amino-3-methyl-l-ogybenzol.       Gemäss dem Verfahren des Zusatzpatentes  Nr. 139369 gewinnt man     4-(Oxväthyl)-amino-          3-methyl-l-oxybenzol    durch     Kondensation    von  1     1AIol.        4-Amino-3-inethyl-l-oxybenzol    mit  1     Mol.    eines     Halogenhydrins    des Glykols.  



  Wie gefunden wurde, kann man die  gleiche Verbindung erhalten, indem man  1     Mol.        4-Amino-3-methyl-l-oxybenzol    mit<B>1</B>       Mol.        Äthylenoxyd    umsetzt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  123 Teile     4-Amiiio-3-methyl-l-oxybenzol     werden mit 1000 Teilen Wasser und 49 Tei  len konzentrierter   Schwefelsäure versetzt,  unter Rühren auf 60   C erhitzt. Bei dieser  Temperatur leitet     man        Äthylenoxyd    ein,    so lange, bis sich die ersten Spuren des       Disubstitutionsproduktes    zeigen. Nach Auf  kochen, Neutralisieren mit     Natriumcarbonat     und Filtrieren lässt man erkalten. Das Filtrat  arbeitet man in der in der Patentschrift  Nr. 139369 beschriebenen Weise auf.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung von 4-(Oxy- äthyl)-amino-3-methyl-l-ogybenzol, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1 Mol. 4-Amino-3- methyl-l-oxybenzol mit 1 Mol. Äthyleroxyd umsetzt. PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of 4- (oxy-ethyl) -amino-3-methyl-l-ogybenzene, characterized in that 1 mol. 4-Amino-3-methyl-l-oxybenzene is reacted with 1 mol. Ethylene oxide.
