Description
Radioaktiver Reilmittelträger. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Heil mittelträger, der sich dadurch wesentlich und vorteilhaft gegenüber bekannten ähnlichen Einrichtungen auszeichnet, dass er selbst durch den Gehalt an radioaktiven Stoffen und die dadurch bedingte Strahlung eine Heilwirkung ausübt.
Als Heilmittelträger ist ein schwamm artiges Gebilde aus Gummi oder einer gleich wertigen Masse gewählt. Bei der Herstellung dieses Schwammes werden der Gummimasse, die ja an sich mehr oder minder grosse Mengen mineralischer Zusätze enthält, radio aktive Stoffe, in erster Linie radioaktive Erze, zugesetzt. Durch diese radioaktiven Stoffe entwickeln sich dauernd Strahlen, die auf den Körper einwirken, sobald der Schwamm in die Nähe des Körpers gebracht wird. Die Schwammform bietet die Möglichkeit, beliebige in einer Flüssigkeit aufgelöste son stige Heilmittel aufsaugen zu lassen und dadurch eine vereinigte Wirkung durch Strah lung und Wirkung der jeweils gewählten Arzneilösung von der Haut aus zu erreichen.
Es ist ersichtlich, dass die Möglichkeit dieser kombinierten Behandlung, die sich mit dem Erfindungsgegenstand in einfachster Weise verwirklichen lässt, eine wirksame Behandlung zahlreicher Leiden ermöglicht.

A sponge-like structure made of rubber or an equivalent mass is chosen as the drug carrier. During the manufacture of this sponge, radioactive substances, primarily radioactive ores, are added to the rubber compound, which in itself contains more or less large amounts of mineral additives. These radioactive substances continuously generate rays which act on the body as soon as the sponge is brought close to the body. The sponge shape offers the possibility of absorbing any other remedies dissolved in a liquid and thereby achieving a combined effect through radiation and action of the medicinal solution selected in each case on the skin.
It can be seen that the possibility of this combined treatment, which can be implemented in the simplest way with the subject matter of the invention, enables an effective treatment of numerous ailments.
