Description
Schlackenwolle-Isolier sing.
Slag wool insulation sing. The present invention relates to a slag wool insulation, which is characterized by; that by an iron structure that ject on an isolated Ob, z. B. a pipe or a container is built on, pure slag wool is connected to the same and surrounded with a protective coat.
The drawing illustrates an example of an embodiment of insulation produced according to the invention; It shows: Fig. 1 is a perspective view of the insulation, and Figs. 2-4 show details.
According to FIG. 1, a steam pipe lt is given as the object. Right angled band iron brackets a are placed on the same and these are attached to the steam pipe with binding wire. Then round bars bent in a circular shape are placed around this bracket a, which form rings g. These are also attached to the Bü rules with binding wire. A galvanized wire mesh b is stretched around this stable iron structure and the space between the wire mesh b and the steam pipe la is filled with slag wool c.
The protective jacket d is applied to the tightly drawn wire mesh b, which is wrapped with a jute bandage e, the outer surface of which is then coated with insulating varnish f.
In the case of pipelines that are laid in the interior, the protective jacket d is expediently made from a kieselguhr composition; while for pipelines that are laid outdoors or in channels, the protective jacket can be made from a cement composition. .
The cement composition is resistant to fire, water and chemical influences, while the protective cover made of kieselguhr composition provides effective protection against pressure and impact.
In Fig. 2 = 4 different implementations from the iron band are Darge provides. 2 shows a double bracket in which the rings g are fastened on top of the two bracket-shaped ends; With the simple brackets according to FIG. 3, the rings g are arranged within the uppermost corners and the protruding leg is pressed against the vertical leg, whereby the type of fastening according to FIG.
It is most useful to use double brackets according to FIG. 2 and the simple brackets according to FIGS. 3 and 4 can be used depending on the position of the pipeline. Sika can be used as a special binding agent for cement compositions. When using this binder with the finest Portland cement, the protective coat is protected against external influences, e.g. B. to water, moisture, weather conditions such as heat or were considered particularly insensitive. Instead of the Sika binding agent, water glass or lithurine can also be used.
The latter binder is expediently used against chemical influences from soda lye, oleic acid, fatty acid, chemical powder, etc.
