Description
Stopfbüchse. Die Erfindung betrifft eine Stopfbüchse, insbesondere für -gasförmige Mittel verdich tende Maschinen, und besteht darin, dass nicht nur eine das Schmiermittel zuführende Leitung vorgesehen ist, sondern auch eine Leitung, welche die Entlüftung beziehungs weise Entgasung des . Schmiermittelraumes der Stopfbüchse bewirkt. Die das Schmier mittel zuführende Leitung kann als Doppel rohr ausgebildet sein, wobei vorteilhafterweise der innere Teil des Doppelrohres mit der Schmiermittelleitung verbunden ist, während der äussere Teil mit der Saugseite des Ver dichters in Verbindung gebracht wird.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungs gegenstandes ist auf der Zeichnung schema tisch dargestellt.
1 ist die Kolbenstange, 2 die Stopfbüchse, in welcher in an und für sich bekannter Art und Weise zwischen den Federn 3 und 4 die Dichtungsringe 5 und 6 angeordnet sind und durch Überwurfmuttern 7 und 8 mit veränderlichem Druck angepresst werden kön nen. Von diesen Dichtungsringen einge schlossen ist die sogenannte Laterne 9, in welche das Schmiermittel, z. B. 01, für die Stopfbüchse zugeführt wird. Gemäss der Zeich nung bilden die das Schmieröl zuführende innere Leitung 10 und die durch die Lei tung 12 mit der Saugseite des Verdichters verbundene äussere Leitung 11 ein Doppel rohr. Durch die Leitung 11 kann eventuell auch überschüssiges 01 abgeführt werden.
Diese Anordnung ermöglicht auf die einfachste Art die Schmierung der Kolbenstange von oben, bei gleichzeitiger Entlüftung beziehungs weise Entgasung der Stopfbüchse auf dem höchsten Punkt des Schmiermittelraümbs unter Vermeidung eines Luftsackes. Die be- schrieberre Konstruktion lässt sich ausser für gasförmige Mittel verdichtende Kolbenma schinen ebensogut für andere Maschinen ver wenden, bei welchen es sich darum handelt, Gase aus der Stopfbüchse oder dem mit der Stopfbüchse in Verbindung stehenden Raum abzuführen.

1 is the piston rod, 2 is the stuffing box, in which the sealing rings 5 and 6 are arranged in a manner known per se between the springs 3 and 4 and can be pressed with variable pressure by union nuts 7 and 8. Of these sealing rings is included the so-called lantern 9, in which the lubricant, for. B. 01, is supplied for the stuffing box. According to the drawing, the inner line 10 supplying the lubricating oil and the outer line 11 connected to the suction side of the compressor by the line 12 form a double pipe. Excess oil can possibly also be discharged through the line 11.
This arrangement allows the piston rod to be lubricated from above in the simplest way, while simultaneously venting or degassing the stuffing box at the highest point of the lubricant room, avoiding an air pocket. In addition to piston machines compressing gaseous media, the construction described can just as well be used for other machines in which it is a question of removing gases from the stuffing box or the space connected to the stuffing box.
