Als Ottomane und als Doppelbett verwendbares Liegemöbel. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Liege möbel, das sowohl als Ottomane, wie als Doppelbett verwendet werden kann. Die beiliegende Zeichnung stellt eine beispiels weise Ausführungsform des Erfindungs gegenstandes dar, und zwar zeigt Fig. 1 das Liegemöbel in der Verwendung als Ottomane, Fig. 2 dasselbe in der Verwendung als Doppelbett, Fig. 3 eine Seitenansicht zu Fig. 2.
Das Liegemöbel besteht aus dem Unter <I>ges</I> a und den beiden Matratzenkörpern b (Mittelmatratze) und c (Deckmatratze), welche an den Längsseiten des Untergestelles durch Seharniere <I>d</I> resp. <I>f</I> angelenkt sind. Die Mittelmatratze b, welche mit vier Fü ssen e. versehen ist, wird bei Verwendung des Liegemöbels als Ottomane um die Schar niere d in das Untergestell hereingeklappt, während die Deckmatratze c auf da.s Unter gestell geklappt wird (Fig. 1).
Soll das Liegemöbel als Doppelbett ver wendet werden, so wird die Deckmatratze so weit um die Scharniere f aufgeklappt, bis die an der Deckmatratze an ihrem einen Ende befestigten Gleithebel g mit ihrem freien, hakenförmigen Ende in die am Unter gestell befindlichen Arretierbolzen h ein haken und dadurch die Aufklappbewegung der Deckmatratze begrenzen. (Punktierte Lage des Teils c in Fig. 2.) Die Mittel matratze b wird hernach um<B>180'</B> aus dem Untergestell herausgeklappt und kommt da bei neben das Untergestell auf die Füsse c zu stehen. Die Deckmatratze wird hierauf wieder auf das Untergestell zurückgeklappt.

Damit die Mittelmatratze in das Unter gestell hereingedreht werden kann, ist sie in Länge und Breite entsprechend kleiner di mensioniert als Untergestell und Deck matratze.
Die Anordnung der einzelnen Teile des beschriebenen Liegemöbels gestattet eine leichte Handhabung, das heisst eine rasche, mühelose Umwandlung der Ottomane in das Doppelbett, und umgekehrt. Das Bett zeug, welches zum Doppelbett gebraucht wird, kann bei Nichtbenützung im Flohlraum zwischen Deckmatratze und Mittelmatratze untergebracht werden.

The reclining furniture consists of the under <I> ges </I> a and the two mattress bodies b (middle mattress) and c (top mattress), which are attached to the long sides of the underframe by hinges <I> d </I> resp. <I> f </I> are hinged. The middle mattress b, which has four feet e. is provided, when using the furniture as an ottoman around the hinge kidney d is folded into the underframe, while the top mattress c is folded on the underframe da.s (Fig. 1).
If the bed is to be used as a double bed, the cover mattress is unfolded around the hinges f until the sliding lever g attached to one end of the cover mattress hooks with its free, hook-shaped end into the locking bolt located on the lower frame and h a thereby limit the opening movement of the mattress. (Dotted position of part c in Fig. 2.) The central mattress b is then folded out of the underframe by <B> 180 '</B> and comes to stand next to the underframe on the feet c. The top mattress is then folded back onto the frame.

So that the middle mattress can be turned into the base, it is dimensioned correspondingly smaller in length and width than the base and top mattress.
The arrangement of the individual parts of the furniture described allows easy handling, that is, a quick, effortless conversion of the ottoman into a double bed, and vice versa. The bed stuff that is needed for the double bed can be stored in the flea space between the top mattress and the middle mattress when not in use.
