Description
Lance d'arrosage.
Watering lance. The object of the invention is a spray lance, characterized by two parts movable with respect to one another, these two parts being each provided with a flat face lapped on the corresponding flat face of the another part, one of these flat faces being pierced with water inlet openings to the lance, while the other flat face is pierced with water escape openings from the lance, these openings being arranged so that an angular displacement of one of the two parts of the lance with respect to the other successively produces: either the straight jet, or the rain (spraying) or the tight sealing of the jet.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, one embodiment of the object of the invention.
Fig. 1 is an exterior view; Fig. 2 is an end view thereof in the direction of the arrow E in FIG. 1; .
Fig. 3 is a section through the line A-rl of FIG. 1; Fig. 4 is a section through the line B-.i of -la fig. 1; Fig.5 is a plan of the flat face of the part e, seen in the direction of the arrow D in fig. 1; Fig. G is a plane of the flat face of part b seen in the direction of arrow E in FIG. 1.
a is the tube of the lance which attaches to the water inlet pipe.
The fixed head b of this tubulura is for view of a flat face c (which we will call the mirror c), lapped on the flat face d (which we will call the mirror (l) of the mobile part e of the lance which is connected to the fixed part b by means of a ring f. A projecting part el of e is provided with two flats which allow it to be grasped using a key to screw it into the ring f which can be immobilized on the moving part e using a pressure screw g and turned using the projections f l.
The mirror c is pierced with two lights la and i which communicate with the interior of the water inlet pipe a. These lights are successively placed opposite the channels 1c or l of the moving part. e or else they are closed by the mirror d of the latter. The channel k contains a device for spraying water to produce the rain and the channel l has a mouth in to produce the straight stream.
rit lug ta playing in a groove o in the arc of the mirror d limits the rotary travel of the part e so that, when the lug is at one end of the groove o channel k is opposite light lc, which produces rain and when this lug is at the other end of the groove, channel d is opposite light i, which produces the jet law. In the intermediate position of the pin ii in the groove o, the mirror d produces the watertight obturation of the two ports h and i.
The spray device contained in the channel k is formed by a screw cap p provided with grooves p 'and a square p2 with the aid of which this cap can be screwed fully into its threaded housing; a small span of the latter stops the plug at one. very small distance from the bottom of the housing, so as to form a very small chamber preceding the mouth of the room where the rain escapes.
