Description

  

  Neuartige Röhre.    Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung  ist eine neuartige Röhre, welche zum Zwecke  absoluter Säurebeständigkeit und eines klei  nen Gewichtes in der Hauptsache aus Bims  und einem Bindemittel besteht.  



  Gegebenenfalls kann dem Bims noch  Quarzsand, Kies oder andere Sande, welche  möglichst wenig kohlensauren Kalk enthal  ten, beigemengt werden.  



  Als Bims kommt     Bimskies,        Bimssand    oder       Bimsmehl    in Betracht. Als Bindemittel kön  nen Zement,     Trass    oder irgend welche Teer  produkte verwendet werden.  



  Die vorliegende     Bimsröhre,    welche erheb  lich leichter ist als eine Bleichgrosse     Zement-          oder    Tonröhre, kann als     Drainier-    oder     Sicker-          röhre    in säurehaltigem Boden verwendet wer  den, ohne dass irgend eine Zersetzung durch  Pflanzen-, Torf-, Humus- oder Holzkohlen  säure möglich ist, was bei den b_     isherigen     Zement- oder Tonröhren nicht der Fall war.  



  Ebenso besitzt sie eine viel grössere Saug  fähigkeit als Zement- oder Tonröhren.  



  Soll die     Bimsröhre    wasserundurchlässig  sein, so kann dies durch Zusatz von     Acquabar       in den Zement oder durch Verwendung von  Teerproduktion als Bindemittel erreicht wer  den, wobei sie wiederum als absolut säure  beständig von unbegrenzter     Lebensdauer    ist.  



  Die     Bimsröhre    kann auch durch einen  Anstrich mit     Acquabar    oder einem andern  Teerprodukt oder durch Eintauchen in eine  solche Masse wasserundurchlässig gemacht  werden. Sie kann in beliebiger Länge in  Formen gegossen, gestampft oder gepresst  werden.
