Abstract
La présente invention concerne un dispositif et un système pour mesurer et évaluer les caractéristiques contractiles mécaniques et neuromusculaires de muscles squelettiques superficiels, et interpréter les résultats pour fournir des mesures avec des descripteurs quantifiables qualitatifs liés à la fonction musculaire. Le présent dispositif fournit un nouveau type de mécanomyographie et une nouvelle utilisation de l'accéléromyographie par mesure du mouvement musculaire mécanique d'un muscle stimulé involontaire à partir d'un protocole d'électrostimulation automatisé pour déterminer les propriétés contractiles de muscles. La réponse de contraction musculaire pendant la phase latente, de contraction et de relaxation mesurée au moyen d'un ensemble d'accéléromètres multiples sur un bloc de capteur pour évaluer et diagnostiquer une fonction musculaire à partir de différentes mesures. Ces informations sont traitées au moyen d'algorithmes pour déterminer des anomalies de fonction musculaire, des profils d'activation musculaire, la symétrie musculaire de paires de muscles latéraux, la synchronisation musculaire de muscles antagonistes, la force musculaire, l'accélération musculaire, la vitesse musculaire, le tonus musculaire, la fatigue musculaire, la puissance/couple musculaire et le rendement musculaire.
