Abstract
Un système et un procédé pour utiliser un ordinateur en vue de générer des renseignements dentaires dun patient sont décrits. Le procédé consiste à recevoir un modèle numérique virtuel de la dentition dun patient dans une première configuration, la dentition comprenant au moins une dent ayant un volume de référence. Il consiste également à amener lordinateur à générer un volume modèle créé alors que la au moins une dent passe de la première à une seconde configuration, et à amener lordinateur à soustraire le volume de référence du volume modèle pour produire un volume.
