Abstract
There are already scrapers on the market equipped with a long handle to clear snow from the covers while remaining on the ground. However this kind of scraper is usable only on sloping surfaces. In the present invention, the user can clear the flat surfaces while remaining on the ground. My invention is a manual tool comprising a scraper having a handle provided with two axes, a mast erected vertically, and a pole. This assembly gives from the ground a perfect angle to the scraper throughout its course on the roof, this assembly makes it possible to produce a lever effect and thus exerting a pressure on the scraper so that it enters the snow and allows the pole to pull the snow to accumulate, so that it falls to the ground. My invention will be particularly useful in the trucking industry to snow plow vehicles which in a large majority have flat roofs.
Description

The present invention relates to a tool of manual use to clear snow blankets while staying on the ground.
Mounted on blankets to clear snow is a maneuver dangerous especially on the roofs of vehicles. For the roofs of buildings with sloping roof it is possible used a model of snow scraper equipped with a long handle to clear the roof while remaining at home.
For roofs of trucks or semi-trailers one can not use this type of scraper because the roof of its vehicles is flat.
To successfully deposit the scraper on a flat roof, it would be necessary give such a pronounced angle to the squeegee handle that he would be impossible to pull the snow out of the blanket I discovered that these disadvantages can be removed with a snow scraper with a handle having two axes. One of its axes is connected to a pivot fixed at the top of a mast erected vertically and press on the ground. This assembly allows the scraper to keep an ideal angle when moving on the roof to evacuate the snow. The second axis is handle, is connected to a pivot attached to the end of a pole fitted an ergonomic grip.
The user * of my invention has only shot at the pole, while away from the roof. The mast is automatically grounded scraper slides on the roof and the snow falls to the self. The two axes attached to the handle are positioned to produce an effect lever and allow the scraper to stick to the roof and penetrate the hardened snow.
* the user refers to the person who uses my invention Drawings Figure 1 With respect to the drawings which illustrate the embodiment of the invention, FIG. 1 represents the invention with all its components positioned on the roof of a truck. User * is about to shoot on pole 7.
The pole 7 is fixed to the lower pivot 5 which is secured to the 2. By pulling on the pole 7, the scraper 1 slides on the roof and drop the snow. Due to the particular shape of handle 2 and positioning the upper pivot 3 and the lower pivot 5, at the bending part 4 of the handle 2, and also due to the pressure exerted on the ground on the mast 6, the user by pulling on the pole 7 produces a Leverage and gives pressure to the scraper 1 on the roof. The pressure on the roof is proportional to the tension exerted on the pole. The mast 6 in addition to contributing to the leverage allows the upper pivot 3 to remain at a necessary height maintaining the right angle on the roof of the scraper 1 and the handle 2 throughout the course of the scraper on the roof, despite the tension exerted by the user on the boom 7 and the angle changes lower pivot 5 and upper pivot 3. The upper pivot 3 allows also at the mast 6 and the handle 2 to remain in solidarity despite the movement back and forth exercise by the user on the pole 7.
The perch 7 has an ergonomic grip 8 Drawings Figure 2 With respect to the drawings which illustrate the embodiment of the invention, FIG. 2 represents the invention with all its components positioned on the roof of a truck. The user terminates the maneuver, and the snow falls to the ground. The user pushes the scrape using the pole so that the mast 6 is in position vertical as in Figure 1, it can restart the maneuver back and forth until there is no more snow on the roof.
