Abstract
L'invention concerne une tête d'entraînement, comportant un carter (12) muni de passages (24, 26) destinés aux tiges (10) et un manchon entraîné en rotation (30) disposé dans ce carter. Ledit manchon (30) entoure une section des tiges (10) auxquelles il est relié par l'intermédiaire d'un accouplement (40). Un frein de retour (70) permet la réduction contrôlée de l'énergie de torsion accumulée dans les tiges. Ce frein (70) comporte un rotor (74) entraîné à l'aide du manchon (30) et un stator (76) supporté sur le carter (12). Un verrouillage (82) empêche le stator (76) de tourner par rapport au carter (12), ce verrouillage ne pouvant être libéré que lorsque les tiges (10) sont pratiquement dépourvues d'énergie de torsion. Cela permet de s'assurer sans danger que l'énergie de torsion a été pratiquement supprimée.
