Abstract
La présente invention concerne un cathéter qui comprend un organe permettant de mesurer la pression locale au niveau d'au moins deux points le long du corps de ce cathéter. Ces points sont de préférence situés dans deux zones de pression différentes, et en particulier à travers une valvule de vaisseau, un organe ou dans une région anatomique similaire. Cette invention concerne aussi une technique de sondage de l'emplacement de positionnement du cathéter dans un vaisseau sanguin, un organe ou dans une autre région du corps, par le cathéter doté d'un organe permettant de surveiller la pression locale au niveau de deux points au moins situés le long du corps de ce cathéter, ou par un organe permettant de mesurer la pression au niveau d'un seul point le long du corps de ce cathéter, ce cathéter pouvant être déplacé de façon à détecter des mesures de pression différentielles. Cette invention peut être utilisée pour connaître plus précisément la position d'un cathéter dans un vaisseau sanguin, à l'aide d'un dispositif de transfert thermique.
