Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil de traitement des retours de fluide de forage sous pression d'un puits ayant une sortie de retours. Le procédé consiste à fournir un premier séparateur conçu pour séparer sélectivement les composants solides, liquides et gazeux des retours de fluide de forage, le séparateur primaire ayant une entrée permettant d'y introduire les retours de fluide de forage; fournir un second séparateur conçu pour séparer sélectivement au moins une partie d'un composant gazeux de ces retours, le second séparateur ayant une entrée permettant d'y introduire ces retours; raccorder les entrées des premier et second séparateurs à la sortie des retours du puits, l'entrée du second séparateur étant ainsi raccordée à ladite sortie en amont de l'entrée du premier séparateur; fournir une commande destinée à réguler le débit des retours de fluide de forage à travers l'entrée des premier et second séparateurs; surveiller le débit du composant gazeux de ces retours expulsé du premier séparateur; et, en réponse aux changements au niveau du débit du gaz expulsé du premier séparateur, manoeuvrer la commande afin de réguler le débit des retours de fluide de forage à travers les premier et second séparateurs de façon à maintenir le débit du gaz expulsé du premier séparateur dans les limites de paramètres prédéterminés.
