Abstract
L'invention concerne un tampon hygiénique permettant d'empêcher les fuites prématurées de liquides corporels hors du vagin, particulièrement pendant la période menstruelle. Ce tampon comprend un absorbant et un élément élastique. L'élément élastique est placé sur l'absorbant, ou à l'intérieur de l'absorbant, et les deux éléments sont enroulés ou façonnés en un rouleau mou allongé possédant une première et une deuxième extrémités. On enroule ce rouleau mou sur lui-même, de manière à aligner la première et la deuxième extrémités contiguës l'une à l'autre et de telle sorte que le rouleau contienne au moins deux plis intermédiaires. On comprime le rouleau mou en un tampon allongé possédant une extrémité d'insertion et une extrémité arrière. L'élément élastique est capable de dilater au moins une partie du tampon, de manière à empêcher les fuites prématurées de liquides corporels quand on l'introduit dans le vagin. Le tampon hygiénique comprend, de plus, un cordon de retrait servant à retirer le tampon hygiénique du vagin. Ce cordon est fixé à la première et à la deuxième extrémités du rouleau mou. Ce procédé consiste à monter un élément élastique et un absorbant afin de créer une structure possédant un axe longitudinal médian X--X. On peut soit aligner l'élément élastique sur l'axe X--X, soit le décaler de cet axe. On enroule ou on replie l'absorbant et l'élément élastique afin de constituer un rouleau mou allongé possédant une première extrémité et une deuxième extrémité. On replie le rouleau mou sur lui-même, de façon à aligner la première et la deuxième extrémités en position contiguë l'une par rapport à l'autre et de telle sorte que le rouleau mou contienne au moins deux plis intermédiaires. On comprime ensuite le rouleau mou afin d'obtenir un tampon possédant une extrémité d'insertion et une extrémité arrière. On fixe un cordon de retrait au tampon, afin de constituer un tampon hygiénique. Ce cordon de retrait facilite le retrait du tampon depuis le vagin.
