Abstract
ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE
An Elk Call, with a "Distinctive" high pitch squeal frequency of spike or young immature bull Elk. Manufactured by Handcraft with durability, portability and an easy fast operating accessibility consists of handy pocket size longitudinal hollow aluminum tube with one end closure with a pinned plug and inserted nylon Lanyard for comfortable carrying purposes. Opposite end of tube is of 45 degree sloped nature holding inserted reed in conjunction to oblong openings for the whistle a small hole some distance from oblong opening is an easy finger tip air release control used to give variable sound at conclusion of the call.

Description
~z~o SPE~::IFIC~TION
This invention relates to a manually operating whistle for calling young bull Elk during rutting season.
This Scott Handcrafted Elk Call is designed to create a distinctive high pitch squeal with easier effort in blowing procedures than previous calls as the reed is of a small dimension opening, allowin~ air to enter the main chamber and also part of air to escape through an oblong opening horizontal to main longitudinal tube, creating the desired squeal of a young bull Elk.
With this whistle an operating call is an air release finger tip control to give a variable adjustment in lowering designed pitch at the concluslon of your call by removing your finger from the release. Other calls require cupped hand over end to do. these variations, which is tremendously difficult procedure, some calls also try to simulate calls by curling the tube or fle~ing which is also difficult, other calls too long and cumbersome to handle and inconvenient to carry. The Grunt call sound call requires tremendous effect in blowing.
The Scott Handcrafted Call not only gets attention of Spike bulls, but Herd bulls respond basically in natures way of showing supremacy to the Harem of females under his control. This type of call meets all requirements for hunters to locate Elk, during ~2~
rutting season and is an astonishing accurate call in getting response.
The Scott ~andcrafted Call overcomeC; many important fsatures of other calls, convenlent pocket size; easy effort in blowing call to obtain high pitch squeal and maintain this desired level for same period of time the responding bull does when replying.
The Scott Handcrafted Call is equipped with lengthy permanent secured Lanyard for carrying purposes when call is used without removing Lanyard. Quick access at all times, never loose control after operation, unless removed from your neck.
The Scott Handcrafted is of light metal, giving a longer distance of coverage as sound from metal releases the vibrations and does not absorb. Example sound from spoxts whistle for games of hockey, soccer, and many other types are predominately made of metal for penetrating effects for considerable distances.
In summary, the Scott Handcrafted Elk Call, is pocket size, easy operated, durable and indeed effective.

Best way of using this call is in the following manner, place No.
5 a nylon Lanyard around your neck use either hand to hold Elk Call No. 1 between No 2 and No 3. Place index finger tip of other hand on No. 3 opening. (Air release control) Place No. 7 end of whistle in your mouth. (Reed area of whistle~ Take deep breath blow until it reaches a high pitch squeal. Now ease off index finger from No. 3. this gives variation in sound effects at conclusion of call that develops when a young bull finishes his call.
