Abstract

MéTODO PARA PRODUçãO DE TUBO DE AçO E COMPOSIçõES DE AçO E TUBO. Composições de aço com adições micro-ligantes de boro e titânio, com tensão de escoamento de pelo menos 100 ksi (690 MPa), excelente tenacidade e boa soldabilidade. Adições de boro são usadas para aumentar a temperabilidade. Fortes formadores de nitretos, tais como titânio, podem ser adicionados à composição de aço com o objetivo de evitar que se formem nitretos de boro. Steel compositions with boron and titanium micro-binder additions with yield strength of at least 100 ksi (690 MPa), excellent toughness and good weldability. Boron additions are used to increase temperability. Strong nitride builders, such as titanium, may be added to the steel composition to prevent boron nitrides from forming. These compositions may be cooled, either by hot rolling, air cooling or using accelerated cooling. After air cooling, the composition may be cooled or cooled and quenched. The compositions are suitable for high strength linear tubes (eg, API 5L standard X100) and other applications.
