Abstract
"rotor para uso em uma bomba centrífuga e método de instalação de um rotor em uma bomba centrifuga", um rotor, para uso em uma bomba centrífuga, sendo que a bomba inclui um invólucro de bomba com uma câmara, uma entrada para levar o material a ser bombeado à câmara e uma saída para descarga de material da câmara, sendo o rotor montado para rotação dentro da câmara quando usado em volta de um eixo de rotação; o roto r inclui uma mortalha frontal, uma mortalha traseira e uma pluralidade de pás de bombeamento entre elas, sendo que cada pá de bombeamento tem uma vanguarda na região de uma entrada de um rotor e um flanco, em que a mortalha frontal tem uma face interna arqueada na região da entrada do rotor, sendo que a face interna arqueada tem úm ráio de curvatura (rs) na faixa de 0,05 a 0,16 do diâmetro externo do rotor (d2 ); a mortalha traseira inclui uma face principal interna e um bico com um perfil curvo com um ápice de bico na região do eixo central que se estende rumo à mortalha frontal, havendo uma região de transição curva entre a face principal interna e o bico; fr é o raio de curvatura da região de transição e a fr/d2 é de 0,32 a 0,65; outras razões de diversas dimensões do rotor também são descritas.
