Abstract

DISPOSITIVO DE ACESSO CIRúRGICO COM CANAL DE VEDAçãO FLEXìVEL. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de acesso cirúrgico, o qual inclui um alojamento dotado de pelo menos um orifício de acesso no mesmo para receber um instrumento cirúrgico através do mesmo, e pelo menos um canal de instrumento flexível alongado que se estende a partir do alojamento e dotado de um lúmen que se estende através do mesmo e em comunicação de fluido com o pelo menos um orifício de acesso no alojamento. O canal do instrumento é adaptado para se mover a partir de uma primeira configuração recolhida na qual o canal é vedado para substancialmente impedir que fluido flua através do mesmo para uma segunda configuração expandida com a inserção de um instrumento através do mesmo.

Claims (27)

1. Dispositivo de acesso cirúrgico, compreendendo:um alojamento dotado de pelo menos um orifício de acesso nomesmo para receber um instrumento cirúrgico através do mesmo; epelo menos um canal de instrumento flexível alongado que seestende a partir do alojamento e dotado de um lúmen que se estende atra-vés do mesmo e em comunicação de fluido com o pelo menos um orifício deacesso no alojamento, o canal sendo adaptado para se mover a partir deurna primeira configuração recolhida, na qual o canal é vedado para subs-tancialmente impedir que fluido flua através do mesmo para uma segundaconfiguração expandida com a inserção de um instrumento através do mes-mo, o canal de instrumento alongado estando em um estado de repouso na-tural na primeira configuração recolhida.
2. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, em que o canalde instrumento alongado é torcido na primeira configuração recolhida e des-torcido na segunda configuração expandida.
3. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, em que o canalde instrumento alongado é dotado de uma seção transversal substancial-mente plana na primeira configuração recolhida.
4. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, em que o canalde instrumento alongado é longitudinalmente enrolado na primeira configu-ração recolhida e retilíneo na segunda configuração expandida.
5. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, em que o canalde instrumento alongado inclui pelo menos um elemento de vedação dispos-to no mesmo e configurado para formar a vedação em torno de um instru-mento inserido através do mesmo.
6. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, em que o canalinclui pelo menos um elemento de enrijecimento que se estende longitudi-nalmente ao longo do mesmo e configurado para proporcionar resistêncialongitudinal ao canal para evitar inversão do canal e ainda permitir flexibili-dade radial do canal.
7. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, adicionalmentecompreendendo um retrator acoplado entre o alojamento e o canal do ins-trumento e incluindo uma abertura que se estende através do mesmo entreos primeiro e segundo flanges configurados para engatar tecido entre osmesmos.
8. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, em que o aloja-mento inclui uma pluralidade de orifícios de acesso no mesmo.
9. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 8, em que cadaorifício de acesso é dotado de um canal de instrumento flexível alongadoque se estende a partir do mesmo.
10. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, em que o pelomenos um orifício de acesso inclui pelo menos uma vedação no mesmo econfigurado para formar pelo menos uma dentre uma vedação dentro doorifício de acesso quando nenhum instrumento é disposto no mesmo e umavedação em torno de um instrumento inserido através do mesmo.
11. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 1, em que o canalde instrumento flexível alongado pode formar uma vedação em torno de ins-trumentos de diversos diâmetros.
12. Dispositivo de acesso cirúrgico, compreendendo:um alojamento dotado de um orifício de acesso que se estendeatravés do mesmo para receber um instrumento cirúrgico; eum canal de instrumento flexível alongado que se estende a par-tir do alojamento e dotado de um lúmen interno que se estende longitudinal-mente através do mesmo e em comunicação com o orifício de acesso noalojamento, o lúmen interno incluindo pelo menos um elemento de enrijeci-mento que se estende longitudinalmente ao longo do canal e configuradopara proporcionar resistência longitudinal ao canal para evitar inversão docanal e ainda permitir flexibilidade radial do canal.
13. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 12, em que o pelomenos um elemento de enrijecimento se estende a partir de uma extremida-de distai para uma extremidade proximal do canal de instrumento alongadoao longo do canal de instrumento alongado.
14. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 12, em que o pelomenos um elemento de enrijecimento é na forma de pelo menos uma carac-terística de superfície que se estende longitudinalmente.
15. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 12, em que o pelomenos um elemento de enrijecimento compreende pelo menos um fio.
16. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 12, em que o pelomenos um elemento de enrijecimento compreende pelo menos um mola dis-posta dentro de uma ranhura longitudinal formada no canal.
17. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 12, em que o ca-nal de instrumento alongado é adaptado para se mover a partir de uma pri-meira configuração recolhida na qual o canal é vedado para substancialmen-te impedir que fluido flua através do mesmo para uma segunda configuraçãoexpandida com a inserção de um instrumento através do mesmo.
18. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 12, adicionalmen-te compreendendo um retrator acoplado entre o alojamento e o canal do ins-trumento e incluindo uma abertura que se estende através do mesmo for-mando um trajeto através de tecido.
19. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 12, em que o alo-jamento inclui uma pluralidade de orifícios de acesso no mesmo.
20. Dispositivo, de acordo com a reivindicação 18, em que cadaorifício de acesso é dotado de um canal de instrumento flexível alongadoque se estende a partir do mesmo.
21. Método para acessar uma cavidade corporal, compreendendo:formar um orifício de acesso através de tecido;posicionar um alojamento em uma superfície do tecido de modoque um canal de instrumento flexível alongado acoplado ao alojamento seestenda dentro da cavidade corporal; einserir um instrumento através de um orifício de acesso no alo-jamento e através do canal de instrumento alongado para mover o canal apartir de um estado de repouso natural na qual o canal está em uma primeiraconfiguração selada recolhida para uma segunda configuração expandida.
22. Método, de acordo com a reivindicação 21, em que o canalde instrumento flexível alongado se destorce na medida em que o mesmo émovido para a segunda configuração expandida.
23. Método, de acordo com a reivindicação 21, em que o canalde instrumento flexível alongado se desenrola na medida em que o mesmo émovido para a segunda configuração expandida.
24. Método, de acordo com a reivindicação 22, adicionalmentecompreendendo remover o instrumento a partir do canal, o canal se torce namedida em que o instrumento é removido.
25. Método, de acordo com a reivindicação 23, adicionalmentecompreendendo remover o instrumento a partir do canal, o canal enrola namedida em que o instrumento é removido.
26. Método, de acordo com a reivindicação 21, em que o posi-cionamento do alojamento inclui posicionar um retrator flexível acoplado entre oalojamento e o canal no orifício de acesso no tecido para retrair o tecido.
27. Método, de acordo com a reivindicação 21, em que o instru-mento é inserido no segundo orifício de acesso no alojamento e através deum segundo canal de instrumento flexível alongado para mover o segundocanal de instrumento flexível alongado a partir de uma primeira configuraçãorecolhida, na qual o segundo canal de instrumento flexível alongado é veda-do para substancialmente impedir que fluido flua através do mesmo parauma segunda configuração expandida.
