Abstract

SISTEMA E MÉTODO PARA GERENCIAMENTO DE MÚSICA. Um dispositivo de rede (102) e um método para a provisão de um serviço de multimídia em uma rede de comunicação pelo uso de um protocolo de transmissão contínua em tempo real (RTSP) são providos. A rede de comunicação inclui um dispositivo de cliente (104) e o dispositivo de rede. O método no dispositivo de rede inclui o recebimento (404) de uma requisição pelo serviço a partir do dispositivo de cliente. Ainda, o método inclui a transmissão (406) de um conjunto de atributos e subatributos correspondentes a cada atributo do conjunto de atributos para o dispositivo de cliente, com base na requisição. Cada arquivo de dados de um ou mais arquivos de dados é selecionado com base em uma resposta do dispositivo de cliente ao conjunto transmitido de atributos e subatributos.
