Abstract
PROCESSO DE OBTENçãO DE NANOCOMPóSITO SóLIDO. A presente invenção se refere ao processo de preparação de nanocompósitos sólidos, formados por látices elastoméricos ou poliméricos e compostos lamelares, sintéticos ou naturais, intercalados ou esfoliados. A novidade apresentada neste processo de invenção é a obtenção de nanocompósitos sólidos através da coagulação de dispersões de látex e argila em agentes coagulantes, por meio térmico ou mecânico, obtendo-se nanocompósitos de borracha/argila sólidos, com alto grau de intercalação e/ou esfoliação da argila. O nanocompósito sólido produzido por este processo de invenção e prescindindo de vulcanização tem propriedades mecânicas muito superiores ás de muitos polímeros ou elastómeros convencionais, bem como excelentes propriedades de resistência a óleos e solventes, o que torna sua aplicação em setores industriais como automobilístico, na fabricação de pneus, vedações dinâmicas e estáticas, gachetas, selantes, mangueiras, correias, entre outras possiveis aplicações. A presente invenção se refere ainda aos artigos produzidos com os referidos nanocompósitos sólidos.SOLID NANOCOMPOSITION PROCESS. The present invention relates to the process of preparing solid nanocomposites formed of elastomeric or polymeric latices and lamellar, synthetic or natural, intercalated or exfoliated compounds. The novelty presented in this process of invention is the obtainment of solid nanocomposites by coagulating latex and clay dispersions in coagulants by thermal or mechanical means, obtaining high intercalation and / or solid rubber / clay nanocomposites. exfoliation of clay. The solid nanocomposite produced by this process of invention and without vulcanization has mechanical properties far superior to many conventional polymers or elastomers, as well as excellent resistance properties to oils and solvents, which makes its application in industrial sectors such as automotive, manufacturing tires, dynamic and static seals, caps, sealants, hoses, belts, among other possible applications. The present invention further relates to articles made of said solid nanocomposites.
