Abstract

CONJUNTO PARA INSUFLAçãO NO CARTER PARA UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA, MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA, E, MéTODO PARA LIMPAR GASES DE INSUFLAçãO NO CáRTER DO MESMO. Um conjunto para limpeza de gases de insuflação no cárter tem um aquecedor elétrico e um catalisador, abaixo, posicionados em relacionamento em série num conduto de insuflação no cárter, levando os gases de um cárter do motor para a atmosfera. O aquecedor é controlado por um controlador para manter uma temperatura selecionada na entrada do catalisador conforme determinado por um sensor de temperatura. O aquecimento dos gases de insuflação no cárter aumenta a temperatura do gás de insuflação no cárter a um nível que ativa o catalisador para oxidar os constituintes da corrente de gases de insuflação no cárter.
