Abstract

OF ACIaria Slag and RESULTING PRODUCT FOR USE AS RAW MATERIAL FOR CEMENT MANUFACTURING. Its main scope is the modification of the composition of the still hot steel slag, directly from the converter, through its reduction with industrial by-products, and the resulting slag is subsequently cooled, slowly or abruptly, in order to obtain a reduced slag that can be reduced. of being crushed and magnetically separated, in order for its metallic fraction to return to the steelmaking process and its non-metallic fraction to be used as raw material in the cement industry. With the obtained product, based on the knowledge of the chemical composition of the non-reduced and reduced slag, steel by-products can be formulated from the mixture of both, in order to allow its use in the dosing of flours, containing in its treated slag composition. ESCACIM between 0.5 and 50% and source of silica between 10 and 20% in relation to the total weight and source of calcium with total oxide content in the nonvolatile base above 88% by mass.
