Abstract
"TORNO PARA A USINAGEM DE PEçAS DE TRABALHO óTICAS". A presente invenção refere-se a um torno para a usinagem de peças de trabalho óticas, em particular lentes de contato, compreendendo uma disposição de ferramenta rápida (13) e uma disposição de eixo de peça de trabalho (14), tem uma estrutura de máquina (10) fundida de uma forma monolítica a partir de um concreto de polímero, e sobre o qual e dentro do qual todas as superfícies funcionais, os espaços funcionais, e demais cortes são formados às suas exatas dimensões durante o processo de fundição. A parte superior de máquina (12) da estrutura de máquina cobre a disposição de ferramenta rápida e a disposição de eixo de peça de trabalho e, deste modo, a cama de máquina (11) à maneira de uma caixa de proteção. A estrutura de máquina é de dimensões compactas, tem uma cama de máquina de oscilação e amortecimento muito rígida e, em comparação aos elementos rapidamente móveis da disposição de ferramenta rápida, apresenta uma massa muito grande com um centro de gravidade elevado, o que impede a transmissão de oscilações disruptivas do movimento de ferramenta rápida para a cama de máquina e, deste modo, para a disposição de eixo de peça de trabalho. O torno desenhado desta maneira pode ser fabricado de uma maneira económica e permite a produção de quaisquer superfícies óticas de lente de contato com uma precisão dimensional e com uma qualidade de superfície extremamente elevadas. A qualidade de superfície ótica obtenível permite um polimento direto, com o resultado do que se obtêm economias consideráveis no processo subseqüente. Se adequadamente equipadas com uma disposição de eixo cortador, poderão ser executadas operações de usinagem de bordas sobre as lentes de contato.
